Itinerary
After your pick up, we begin our journey from the northern part of Santorini, the unique Oia (approx 1 hour). Oia is known for it’s captivating sunsets, the picturesque blue and white houses and of course the famous blue domed churches. Here we will wander around the cobblestoned streets enjoying the view of the iconic Caldera. Oia, can surely provide us with many options to get to know the place better such as art galleries, traditional restaurants and coffee shops that are cliff hanging over the beautiful deep blue sea. Also, Oia is a must for unlimited shopping at local stores of all kinds and not to mention the non stop photo shooting at the most iconic landscape.
Our next stop is the idyllic Imerovigli (approx 20 minutes), the place where we will enjoy a peaceful walk through its narrow streets, admiring the dazzling view of the Caldera. At Imerovigli is where we will also find the Unesco protected Mount ”Skaros” which is the most important corner of the island due to its construction, as it is completely formed by lava. In the past Mt Skaros used to be a lookout point for protection against pirates but nowadays it is the perfect spot to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Volcano, Thirasia island and the endless blue of the Aegean sea.
We continue our day to the neighbouring Firostefani (approx 10 minutes), a small traditional village that hosts the most popular blue domed church known as ’’The Three Bells”, where we can have a direct view of the Volcano and Thirasia island. Firostefani is one of the most suitable spots to take unique postcard quality photos for unforgettable memories.
Our last stop that could not be missing from our itinerary is the famous Santo-Wines Winery (approx 1 hour). Santo Wines is one of the most popular wineries of Santorini. The Santorinian wine history is well known all over the world so wine tasting is a must. The upside here is that Santo Wines offers a large variety of local wines to taste whilst enjoying a 360° view of the Caldera.
After enjoying the mesmerizing view of the Caldera we will proceed to our last stop, the traditional Megalochori (approx 20 minutes) that is located on the southwest part of Santorini. Megalochori is an unspoilt village filled with traditional houses, Greek taverns, pirate’s hideaways and old wine canavas. It’s the best choice to emerge into the real Greek traditional lifestyle. Since cars are not allowed inside the village, we will enjoy a peaceful walk among the cobblestoned streets, which takes us back to another era.

A Very Reliable tour operator in Santorini . I have been in contact with Elena and we were all set to do a 5 hour private tour in Santorini. From the start to finish , we were just in awe. Elena made sure that we will be able to find Apostolis( Driver/Tour guide) . Since there was a lot of people coming down from the ship. Looking at the island , we thought that we will be able to finish early . But Apostolis brought us to a lot of breathtaking views and made us see all the city in the island . We were able to see very famous places and stunning views of the island . This was definitely 1 of my favorite experience. If I will come back to Santorini again , I will definitely book with this company. I highly recommend Mr.Volcano !!!

We stayed in Santorini after 5 days in Athens. We didn't have anything planned to do, but my wife really wanted to take a tour. We booked this tour less than 24 hours before we went (other tours with other companies were booked) and it was a great experience from start to finish. A lot of the tours had preset times for their tours, but we could choose which time best suited us. That was a major plus because didn't want to go too early in the morning or late afternoon either. Aposotolis was our tour guide and he was very professional and knowledgeable about the island and just overall Greek way of living. He quickly customized our tour to our liking-- we wanted to see the whole island and my wife wanted really good pictures. Aposotolis delivered that and more! He took us to the most beautiful areas of the island-- some were even off the beaten tourist path, which was nice and unique. We really saw everything we wanted to see in the 5 hour allotment. He even took our pictures when we asked and did a really good job with that too! We could spend as much time as we wanted in each location. He would tell us where he would be parked at and we just hop in the car when we were ready for our next destination. Instead of being taking back to our hotel, we asked to be dropped off at a restaurant for lunch. Aposotolis gave us the best recommendation to eat and we REALLY enjoyed our meal. It was delicious. He even called and made us reservations. This was an AWESOME tour! It was the best day ever and Aposotolis was a wonderful tour guide!
