Stop by to learn how to worship at the shrine. Osaka Tenmangu is a Shinto shrine located in Tenjinbashi, Kita-ku, Osaka City. It is also known by the names Tenma Tenjin, Naniwa Sugamo, and Nakajima Tenmangu. It is affectionately called “Tenma no Tenjin-san” by the citizens of Osaka. The Tenjin Festival, held every year from July 24th to 25th, is known as one of Japan's three great festivals and Osaka's three great summer festivals.

Visit Osaka Castle with cycling and learn its culture from a local guide Osaka Castle has a long history, with its origins in the Osaka Honganji Temple (Ishiyama Honganji) of the Warring States period, the Ishiyama Battle fought against Oda Nobunaga, the construction of the castle by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, its fall during the Siege of Osaka, reconstruction by the Tokugawa shogunate, destruction by fire during the upheavals of the Meiji Restoration, and post-war park development, it has always been closely connected with Japanese history and has continued to the present day. The stone walls, moats, Otemon Gate, Tamon Yagura, Sengan Yagura and other ancient buildings that can be seen today are all from the Tokugawa period onwards, and the area has been designated as a Special Historic Site by the national government, with most of the ancient buildings being designated as Important Cultural Properties.

It has been a wonderful adventure. Our tour guide was fantastic. Met with great people in the group. The ride is what made it worth it instead of taking a tour bus.

Tony was amazing!! We booked this tour after having Tony as our tour guide for the Ramen Noodle Making in Kyoto. We enjoyed his knowledge and bubbly personality. He has very good English and was a joy to hang out with. I will recommend Magical Trip Tours to anyone visiting Japan.
This was not the best experience. Going on a bike tour I would have expected most of the time to be on a bike seeing the city however we spent over an hour at a museum and also at a shrine that we couldn’t see as it was being renovated. Some of the time in the museum would have been better spent seeing more of the city.

This tour was a great experience. Take was a great guide and gave us so much information on the history of Osaka and Japanese culture. The lunch was more substantial than expected with a tea and dessert to end the tour. It was a wonderful time.

We had a nice tour and navigated the streets of Osaka with Tony, our tour guide for the day. We saw a Buddhist Shrine, the housing museum and learned about how people used to live in Osaka and how they do now. The Osaka Castle was beautiful and the tea house museum was an unexpected treat!
