5-Hour National Park + City tour - USHUAIA (Private Tour)

Our exclusive and personalized service will ensure you enjoy the tour while avoiding the busloads of tourists that are expected to arrive and avoid shooting photos through the windows as in large buses. After sterling this tour we will drive through the southernmost city in the world and the only one in Argentina located between the mountains and the see. We will know its history and culture, stopping at scenery spots for taking the best pictures. Then we head to the National Park where we visit lakes, lagoons, streams, rivers and having enough time to stop at a cafeteria located in the middle of the forest for a snack.

On the way to the national park enjoy a tour of the city at the end of the world and various sights and we stop to take landscape photos Itinerary National Park - The picturesque Bahia Ensenada, site of the Unidad Postal del Fin Mundo, where you will have the opportunity to have your passport stamped with a "Fin del Mundo" ("End of the World") - The stunning Lago Roca, where you will take a peaceful and charming walk - with great photo opportunities - around part of the lake - Centro de Visitantes, where you can buy snacks and souvenirs while enjoying panoramic views of the picturesque mountains, forests and rivers. - Drive across the Río Lapataia, the Archipelago Cormoranes, the Laguna Verde and the Río Ovando. - Bahia Lapataia and the end of Ruta Nacional 3, the southernmost point of the Panamericana, where you can take photos at the famous sign that indicates the distance in kilometers between Ushuaia and Alaska.

This was a great tour, beginning with an hour or so tour of the city, and then traveling to the national park where we made several stops, including the end of the Pan-American Highway, which begins in Alaska. The tour guide, Leo, was excellent and full of really interesting information about the area. One of the things we really liked about this tour was that there was a driver and a guide, allowing the guide to stay engage the entire time while the driver focused on the driving. The length, at five hours, was also perfect for us as we were able to grab lunch back in town before heading back to the cruise ship.

Wow. What an epic day. We had a private 5 hour tour booked. Our tour guide, David, showed up at 8am. We were going to all the sites in town and beyond. As we were driving my husband said he wanted to do helicopter tour but wasn’t sure if this would be possible. David made it possible. Within 3 hours we were on a helicopter. Our guide went beyond what was expected and we most certainly appreciated it! I highly recommend you book a tour with David, our new friend!

Juan was a great guide. Exactly where he said he would give and considerate in getting the car, providing local snacks and water. Like having a knowledgable friend show you his town and region. The roads are bumpy but he did his best. We asked for frequent restroom stops and he did just that. I wanted a great empanada so he took us to his favorite shop. My husband had a tiny misshapen and Juan was very responsive. A lovely way to see the park and Ushuaia.

Juan was a wealth of knowledge on everything Ushuaia - history, plants, animals, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him, and he kept us away from crowded buses. So we got to enjoy our time with the sounds of nature and moving at our own pace. Wish we had more time to spend in Ushuaia. We would definitely request Juan again.

We booked a private tour to accommodate our request for pickup from Ushuaia port and drop-off at the airport. The owner, Edgardo, maintained excellent communication from start to finish, demonstrating great flexibility and consideration for potential ship arrival delays. I had the absolute pleasure of touring Tierra del Fuego National Park with David while in Ushuaia, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. We started early in the morning and beat the crowds, which made for a truly magical experience—what better way to greet the earth than to be in the park as it slowly wakes up? David is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and he took the time to answer all my questions with patience and insight. I was able to walk some trails on my own, take in the stillness, and really connect with the land. He’s a warm-hearted family man and a very safe driver, which made me feel completely at ease throughout the day. What stood out most is how adaptable and generous he is—he truly tailors the experience to you. We ended up planning another outing together, and he took me to an amazing seafood lunch at El Frontón in Puerto Almanza. He never rushed me, let me take all the photos I wanted, and even stayed in touch during my time in Ushuaia to offer advice and suggestions on things to do. David started the day as my guide and ended as a friend. If you’re heading to Ushuaia, do yourself a favor and book time with him—you won’t regret it.
