5 Days Egypt Private Tour

I am naturally a cautious guy and know how careful you have to be when booking tours online, especially ones that aren’t located in your home country. That being said, my wife and I have just returned from a fantastic and very professionally organised trip around Egypt with Egypt Holiday Makers. Mohammad was always available on WhatsApp to answer my questions (and I had more than was probably reasonable) and would check in regularly during transfers to make sure everything went smoothly. Even when our flight was delayed going from Cairo to Aswan meaning we missed the opening hours of a temple that day, the following day was still arranged to make sure the one we had missed was included. I was also very appreciative that we only had to pay a small deposit to secure the international flights with the remainder being paid at the end when we were in Luxor. It really gave the feeling of a safety net. The two guides we had were Sharif (Cairo) and Hani (Abu Simbel, Aswan-Luxor), both were very knowledgeable and would help in any way they could. I know that if you’re reading this review then you are considering a tour and considering booking Egypt Holiday Makers. From my experience, they are trusted and reliable and you will have no issues with your trip if you book with them. Here’s a few recommendations. •When doing this tour and staying in Cairo, try to get a pyramid view room at Egypt Pyramids Inn. The beds are not at all comfortable and it’s a bit noisy at night, it’s unlikely you will get the best nights sleep. However the view you get is MAGNIFICENT and well worth the hotels shortcomings. It’s clean and staff are friendly. •The cruise ship we were on was the MS Esmeralda, it was absolutely fantastic, the food was the best we’ve had in Egypt and the staff were amazing. •Do the Abu Simbel trip. It’s an early start and a long car journey (you can fly though) but it’s so worth it. •Be prepared for some serious heat when visiting during the summer, some temples don’t provide a lot of shade and you’re going to want it. I saw loads of people walking around with umbrellas and wished we had had them. That’s about it. These guys are trustworthy and reliable and put on a really decent trip, I’d definitely recommend them.
