4 Hours of Humpback Whale Watching in Tahiti

Description
Our team of naturalist guides will share their passion and will be able to provide you with all the expected information about these cetaceans and their environment. Compliance with approach rules and animal welfare is a priority for our team, which will ensure a respectful activity. Animal watching will be done initially from the boat. If their behavior and sea conditions allow, it will be possible to observe them in the water while snorkeling if you select this option. Experience in snorkeling is mandatory. We are working with local cetacean conservation associations and marine biologists to ensure that our observations contribute to the development of scientific knowledge of the species. Our spacious boat will guarantee you comfort throughout your ocean trip. The boat is also equipped with a hydrophone so you can listen to the melodious whale song.

Julien and his captain made us live an unforgettable moment. To begin with, a very interesting lecture on whales, then a magical encounter with a whale and its calf. There were only 3 of us on the boat with all the attention they know how to show.
The tour was excellent, the guides helped educate us, explained what was going on, answered questions, and were very passionate about finding whales and giving us a good experience. They provided snacks (some fruits and breads) and water/juice. We saw whales, but unfortunately didn't get in the water because the conditions weren't right (not their fault). I would happily book with them again given the opportunity.
MAGIC!! An absolutely amazing experience. The boat is very comfortable, with the possibility to tarpaulin the living room in case of rain. Table, fridge, and captain with little care who prepares fruit and cakes on board to accompany tea, and fruit juices! Just the locals! A treat Julien in guide, passionate and exciting (and the word is weak). He loves what he does and shares it without moderation. He's in love with whales and the ocean. Huge presentation on animals, I learned so much that I feel like I have traveled 1 year with whales (I had already gone outings elsewhere in Moorea and Tahiti, I just regret not having been here before! he is by far the best guide / service provider I have been around). Everything is explained to us about the behavior of the animals, the choice to get into the water or not, how, where we position the boat... After moving whales, and jumps nature rewarded us XXL and we had the chance to observe the whales in the water! The experience is just crazy and takes on even more meaning when you understand all the ins and outs!
We were spoiled by nature and saw whales from the boat and even in the water. We fully appreciate the LUCK this represents! However mixed experience, a great boat but with a guide on board who sent everything: "hello - goodbye", express briefing of 3 minutes including 2 minutes about dolphins and turtles... She was much busier texting her phone than the customers on board.
Bien cordialement,
Don’t hesitate just book it a truly wonderful experience that can never be replicated the captain and crew Julian was very passionate and exited to share his wealth of knowledge about these amazing animals and makes sure you get the best footage possible if you have your own camera
Great family time on the boat of Tahiti Ocean Explorer, captain and guide very friendly and respectful of whales. We had a great time on board and in the water with a mom/baby duo. Moment suspended in time, stars full of eyes... thank you!
Undoubtedly, my finest outing whales, We spent the first few hours on board the boat observing and explaining Julien, our passionate guide. Then we got in the water, and had the chance to see a unique and beautiful show! We left from the stars full of eyes and memories inked forever!
We saw a mom and baby but only because another company told them where. There were several on aboard, pretty sure we were the only paying passengers. Others appeared to be friends who live on the Island. Choppy water, others got in for about an hour while we sat on boat Okay experience but not worth what we paid. Next day we did a different tour which was amazing
Bien cordialement,
It was an amazing experience, the team is very caring and adorable. They respect whales enormously and they love what they do. I recommend you 200% live this experience with Tahiti Ocean Explorer. Mauruuru to the whole team
Experience Crazy!!! Thanks to Julien and his team for this Whale outing! I can only recommend you, we feel that he masters his subject, a real passionate who does not understand time in water! We made 2 launches (1h15 pui 25 min) and we took plenty of eyes!!! Last thing super cool, Julien film with his go pro and sends us the videos in the process! Thank you again and see you next year!!
