I’ve been lucky enough to have had not one, but two fabulous “fancy shmancy” tours with Laurent! The first was in February and the last in May. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, but he is personable, funny and very entertaining (he’s a great singer!) I highly recommend him if you are looking for an informative tour with a little bit of charm!
What can I say but wow! Aix en Provence has my heart and I cannot wait to return, in part because of a wonderful private tour with Laurent. Our 4 hour tour was the perfect amount of time to see the village area and get to know the city. Laurent was the consummate host and you can tell he really loved sharing his lovely city with others. He took us to many of his favorites, and shared lots of delicious eateries and shops along the way. He was also willing to slow down and let us stop and browse certain shops when we asked, which was a welcome relief as some tours only have "their agenda". He even went out of his way to book us a dinner reservation at a local restaurant, which was one of the best meals we had on a week trip to Paris and the Cote Du Azur. As two women traveling together, we felt completely comfortable with Laurent as our guide. Overall, I would highly recommend doing a tour with Laurent and plan to book with him again when I return to the area sometime in the future.
Thank you !
Excellent visit with the tour guide Laurent. He was so helpful and really proud to share the highlights of this beautiful city. The day flew by and we got to see the city with much detail. We also got to shop and eat as well. Our guide knew all the best places.
Had a great day with Laurent as he drove myself and 3 friends through the wine region. Laurent went over and above for us and gave us a history lesson of the area when driving from place to place. Each of the wineries were lovely with lovely staff. Once the wine tour was over, Laurent then took us to the great bakery, pastries and cheese shops to stock up for the rest of the evening. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone touring around this area.
