I had such a great time in Cairo, Egypt. My teacher friends and I found the tour to be adventurous, educational, exciting as well as relaxing. It was even moving at times. Mahmoud made our trip to Cairo a trip of a life time! We had a party of three. Two of us arrived the first day, and then our friend joined two days later. He was EXTRA accommodating to us! Before arriving to Egypt, he had put together a very detailed itinerary including all the attractions we wanted to see AND more! Our trip began with him picking us up at the airport and driving us to our hotel. Mahmoud is such a friendly young man, we felt so welcomed right off the bat. Our first excursion was a day trip to the beautiful Alexandria. Mahmoud was very informative and knowledgeable with all the information he was able to share with us along the way. He also made the two hour journey each way very enjoyable. His humour and laugh is very contagious! Later that night our friend arrived late into Cairo. He picked her up at midnight from the airport and drove her to our hotel, he’s such an all-star!! The next day was our busy day of exploring the pyramids. Mahmoud set up a fun-filled day, where we discovered not only is he the best tour guide, but the world’s best photographer! Being three girls exploring Egypt, a few pictures are going to be taken along the way. Mahmoud was so patient and creative with his picture taking skills, that we now have the best, most unforgettable memories captured for life. Later that evening, after our pyramid adventure, Mahmoud took us on a stunning Nile River dinner cruise. The food was so fresh and delicious. Being able to see Cairo lit up at night was spectacular. Sadly, our last full day in Cairo arrived. But nonetheless, Mahmoud planned a packed day! The morning began bright and early with an 8 a.m. pick-up for the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. This museum is a 100% must see! The number of artifacts and history in this museum was unbelievable. Next, we had the opportunity to explore Old Cairo, where Mahmoud took us to the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Berbara, the hanging Church and the old Jewish Ben Ezra Synagogue. To end the day Mahmoud took us three ladies shopping. He took us to a well-known bazaar, where we spent a couple hours exploring different stores. Mahmoud was very patient as we went in and out of stores and tried things on. Finally, our time to fly back home arrived. We had a very early departure. Mahmoud picked us up at 4 a.m. and gave us a very comfortable ride back to the airport. Mahmoud, thank you for the best experience we could have asked for in Egypt. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and I would 10000000% recommend you to anyone traveling to Egypt. Best of luck!
