My 5th tour with Rabbies

Our tour guide Alex was amazing. His known ability to deliver information with humor is outstanding. In addition to the listed itinerary Rabbies guides have the ability to add on interesting stops along the way. I love this bit. Also, you get plenty of opportunities to hike, but are not obligated to hike if you don't want to.

The best of Cornwall and Devon!

My husband and I travel extensively and have taken countless tours around the world. Never before have we encountered a guide as personable, professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely funny as Alex. His ability to safely navigate a van full of tourists along the narrow, winding roads of Cornwall and Devon — all while sharing one fascinating anecdote after another — was truly remarkable. Alex is a walking encyclopedia of British history and culture. Anyone fortunate enough to join one of his tours is in for an exceptional experience. Thank you Alex and Rabbie’s!

Fantastic tour with Timor Sightseeing

We are a Danish couple who were on a fantastic private tour from March 13th to March 17th 2026 with Timor Sightseeing. The owner of the company, Egidio was both our guide and driver. He did both jobs in the best possible way - a knowledgeable and informative guide and a skilled driver. We were in good hands in every way. On top of that, Egidio was an extremely pleasant person - cheerful, helpful and very service-minded. What we paid for the tour was very reasonable, in relation to what we got. There were no unforeseen expenses on the tour at all. Egidio's service went well beyond what he was obligated to do according to our agreement. He is a real double-bagger. Our hobby is traveling - we have visited all 7 continents and have traveled in 154 countries - so we have been on many private tours with a driver and guide to compare with. Our tour with Egidio was top class, so we would highly recommend Timor Sightseeing for exciting and well-organized tours in Timor-Leste. Best regards, Anna and Per Studsholt, Aalborg, Denmark

Southwest England Paradise

I felt safe and totally looked after throughout the tour. Kate was informative and made the tour enjoyable even asking us to compile a list of music so we could play in between stops.

Fabulous Short Tour but with Limited Time

We have gone with Rabbies on a number of previous tours but always in Scotland so this was our first tour with them in England. We prefer the small mini buses they use to coaches and with only 4 other passengers on the tour it felt far more intimate and private than a large coach party. This tour was a great way to see many of the famous landmarks of Cornwall, Devon and Wiltshire over a few days. The hotel we stayed at in Falmouth for 2 nights was very nice with picturesque views overlooking Falmouth harbour. The guest house in Exeter was not so nice but adequate for one night. The driver/guide was very informative about the local areas and was also quite flexible with our time at locations when possible, such as allowing us an extra half an hour at Tintagel which was much needed as we still struggled to see all that we wanted to. As always with these type of tours there will be places you would prefer to spend longer at and places you would prefer not to. Personally I would have loved to have had the opportunity to visit the castle on St Michaels Mount but there was insufficient time to do this and it was only possible to take photos of the island from the beach. Similarly, I would have liked to have had time to visit Dunster castle but again this was not on the agenda and only a short visit to the village was possible. I would have also liked to have spent longer at Durdle Door and instead left out Lulworth Cove which we visited afterwards and was a small pebble beach and very overcrowded. Our visit to Lynmouth was an unexpected but very pleasant surprise as it not been included in the itinerary although once again I would have liked to have spent longer there in order to go on the cliff railway to Lynton. Nevertheless, it was still one of the highlights of the tour. In contrast Day 3 involved a lot of travelling was not too inspiring. I would have happily forgone visiting a traditional pub, a couple of not overly picturesque towns/villages and the rocky granite outcrop of Haytor. This was the only day it rained which probably didn't help my impressions of the places we visited. Nevertheless, there were still plenty of memorable highlights on this tour including Lynmouth, the Minack Theatre, Durdle Door, Tintagel and Stonehenge.

Wonderful experience!

It's a great trip! We got to see the Southwest coastline and sampled a few towns in Cornwall and Devon and drove through Somerset. The Guide/driver Iggy was very friendly and accommodating. Very helpful and patient and tried to explain things as much as possible. Will definitely do another trip with the company.

Beating Storm Bert

Alan was a passionate, authentic and knowledgeable tour guide who made seeing some iconic places even more memorable. Alan’s flexibility and determination in the midst of Storm Bert was admirably as this tour could have been easily cancelled due to the weather conditions. Having only 3 guests gave this tour a unique feel with Alan to be commended for his leadership. We thoroughly recommend this tour as well as Alan as a guide. It is a beautiful part of England to visit and experience.

Great Experience

This was our first bus tour and a very enjoyable experience due in large part to our extraordinary tour guide Kate. She was knowledgeable, personable, engaging and endlessly patient. We would have rated this tour a 5 if it were not for the discomfort of the bus. We are both tall people and found the seating configuration challenging. Kate and our traveling companions were very accommodating but you need to consider that not all travellers are small.
