An Incredible Experience!

The Salkantay Trek was an amazing and unforgettable experience, made even better by the incredible team at Salkantay Trekking. The accommodation was great, clean, comfortable and well organised. Despite having multiple dietary requirements, I was always well catered for, and the food throughout the trek was excellent. A special mention must go to our guides, Hector and Edison, who were fantastic. Their knowledge, support and enthusiasm made the trek even more enjoyable, and they were always happy to answer questions and share their expertise. I would also like to thank Alexandra and the wider Salkantay team for their excellent communication and support throughout the experience. Whenever I had a question, they were quick to respond with helpful and detailed answers. I would highly recommend Salkantay Trekking to anyone looking to complete this incredible adventure!

Salkantay Trekking

The guides (JC and Ruben) were knowledgeable and worked hard to ensure that everyone in the group had a good experience. The food was excellent. The views were awesome and we even saw an avalanche! I would do the 5-day if I were to do it again though bc the last day isn’t really hiking. It’s important to read the website- it accurately describes the experience, difficulty level, and accommodations.

Incredible hike

Incredible trek! Joel was a fantastic guide— so knowledgeable about the area and supportive on the hikes. I had some issues with acclimatizing and both Joel and Guillermo were very helpful. Will come back!

Amazing experience. Great accommodations! Lots of History. Our Guide (Cesar Quispe) was very patient and gave us a lot of insights. Would 100% recommend taking a tour with him.
