4-Day Nile cruise Aswan to Luxor with Abu Simbel & Guided Tours

A truly fantastic experience to see such amazing historical sites and it was made even better by a truly incredible guide, Mr. Magdy! A true expert in his field and went above and beyond throughout our trip to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. I would ask for Magdy again and again. As for the cruise it is not really a three night cruise. It is a three night sleep on the boat with only one night and two days cruising. Two nights the boat is docked. The boat was not as great as the booking site made it sound but it was still terrific and worthwhile. Early morning starts to beat the heat and crowds were difficult, but certainly the best way to go. Tipping may be challenging if you are unfamiliar with it as getting cash at any ATM is far from simple. Again a good guide makes it easy. Good food, adequate service, and good facilities are a nice base for exploring truly special places. Highly recommend if your on a budget.

Excellent tour! The cruise was very beautiful, the food was good, and the evening shows were also enjoyable. All visits were completed as scheduled, and we had enough time to rest between the sights. The best part was our guide Nagy, who gave us a personalized tour in Spanish and explained each place we visited in detail. Additionally, he gave us advice on how to interact with the local people and was always attentive to our safety and our belongings.

The tour with Egypt Knight Tours was very well organized. The logistics were always very precise, and they took us to all the archaeological sites without any setbacks. The transportation to the sites was very comfortable, with air conditioning and in very good condition. Our guide Hani was very kind, knowledgeable about the sites, and explained in detail the history and architectural context of the marvelous sites and temples. The rooms on the Nile River cruise ship were very comfortable, clean, and pleasant. And as an extra value, the food throughout the cruise was very delicious, varied, and with excellent service from the waiters. If we return to the Nile, we would definitely use Egypt Knight Tours and Hani to explore other parts of the Nile.

It was a very well organised tour. The tour content, the guides, the follow-up of the tour operator, everything was amazing. They made it clear in advance what was included in the tour price and what was not. Tour companies you can confidently recommend.

The knowledge of each tourist destination and guide is amazing and I am truly glad to be part of this tour. However, I lost one star because I had some places that I could not visit slowly due to my cruise schedule, some drivers were unwilling to communicate with me from the beginning due to language barriers, and the seasoning of the food served on the cruise was quite strong for me as a Japanese, at least not to my taste. However, the operators contacted us very often and coordinated with our guides, drivers and cruise ship captains (I was on board Ms Royal Viking ), which made the whole tour very safe and stress-free. The cruise ship staff were also helpful and the drink prices were reasonable. For example, 1.5 litres of water is sold for 70 EGP, which I found reasonably priced compared to other tourist destinations in Aswan and Luxor. Thank you for the wonderful tour.

Egypt Knight Tour prepared our trip and it was a fantastic experience. Nada (tour operator) prepared the trip excellently and was watching daily that everything went according to plan. The deal with her was very fluid and cordial. Nagy, our guide in Spanish, was not only giving us accurate and valuable information about each monument we visited, but always made sure we saw them in the best condition. The cruise they chose for us, MS Lady Mary, was sensational. Egypt has many treasures and with this trip we have discovered many of them. We have felt welcomed and safe. Mr Hany our guide was very kind, knowledgeable and moved some of the itinerary around for us to ensure we had an easier day on the day we flew. I should have read deeper (click additional info) in the notes that the starts were early as this was a challenge for our toddler. I sometimes felt the alone time around the temples could have been a little longer. Also if we had left for Edfu temple a little later, the crowds would have already died down by 5.30m (half an hour after opening) - as this place felt manic. The boat itself was much nicer than I expected. The food and service was good. Very enjoyable experience and lifelong memories of the temples banked.

Egypt Knight Tours was such an amazing experience. From airport transfers to Nile cruises to sightseeing, everything was smooth and secure. Our guide, Hany, was very knowledgeable and kind and we had a better time. The staff were very helpful and it was a safe tour.

Incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, patient and organised, Magdy expertly guided us on our 4 day/3 night cruise from Aswan (including Abu Simbel) to Luxor. The schedule was busy but well paced and everything was well organised and on time (the early mornings were worth beating the crowds). This made up for the hiccup ON arrival, where we were informed that the (higher tier) cruise we initially, and specifically, booked was cancelled and that we would be on another boat instead but with an upgrade arranged by Egypt Knight Tours.
