4-Day Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Icefield Packaged Tour

Great - Canadian Rockies are beautiful. You get to see quite a lot in a few days. Tour guides are very knowledgeable and the accommodations are comfortable.

I booked this activity via Viator and unfortunately days before we were to travel I had to be rushed to the hospital where I spent days in ICU and could not travel. When inquiring about a refund, Chris from the travel operator Westar said she would try based on my circumstances even though the trip was shown as non cancel able . In the end Wesstar offered me 50%! Credit towards a future trip but Chris said this is the best they could do as I booked via Viator which now seems to have been a big mistake. Now I am out over 2000 CDN which as a Senior citizen is a considerable amount of money and my doctor has forbidden me to travel overseas to use my credit . I have all the medical proof needed to validate my illness . Is there nothing Viator can do for me ? Surely there musr be exceptions.

Great solo trip with tour guide Kan! Kan is very friendly and patient, he also took great pictures which is definitely a plus haha.

Banff's Lake Monroen, Loch Louise, and Sulfur Hill are beautiful views, and horse guide KAN is good. Icefield views are average and skywalking, with no unexpected surprises.

Our Banff trip was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to our amazing guide Patrick Chou. He was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything in such a clear and engaging way. Patrick guided us through some of the most breathtaking places — Moraine Lake, Emerald Lake, Lake Louise, and the Natural Bridge — while sharing fun facts, stories, and lots of laughter along the way. His sense of humor, sunny personality, and professional guidance made the entire experience even more special. Our first day bus tour with Westar Travel to Banff was absolutely incredible—all thanks to our outstanding tour guide Juan(Lisa) Rong. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make the experience engaging, fun, and memorable. Her knowledge about Banff’s history, wildlife, and hidden gems was impressive, and she shared stories in such an entertaining way that kept us captivated throughout the trip. What really stood out was her thoughtfulness—like taking the time to snap photos for us during lunch, ensuring we had great memories to look back on. Of course, our driver Chao (Joe) Yang was also very professional and ensured a smooth, safe ride—much appreciated!

The Westar Co. deserves a 5 ⭐ .The trip was well organized and coordinated right from the pickup from Calgary airport to drop off at the end of the trip. We had Lisa and Michael as our tour guides and Jon was our coach driver. The trio were very professional and gave their best to make the tour a success.They were warm and approachable. The trip was bilingual and it was ensured that every one understood the instructions and also the witty quips to rope in the passengers. No one felt left out unlike the other reviews I have read. A shout to LISA, our star of the show . She knows her business well . A sweetheart .It's her clarity of instructions , of do's and Don'ts which helped the smooth run of the tour without any hiccups. She always prepared us for the worst but gave us the Best. A spl mention of her photography skills. There were ppl waiting in que for getting clicked some amazing frames by her. We got A-class accomodations, check ins were smooth ,no confusions, no eyebrow rise situations. It was a value for money trip. Spent most wonderful 4 days in Canadian Rockies. Had ample time given for each site. Thank you Lisa for enlightning us with history of every place we visited. Michael was equally entertaining and knowledgeable. Only suggestion for Michael would be to slow down while speaking English. Was bit apprehensive about the trip because of not so appealing reviews. But now happily returning with beautiful memories and highly recommending the tour .
