The lodges looked great and offered a real, close to the nature experience. Everything was well planned and well thought, we felt taken care of and we would definitely recommend the experience further.
During an excursion you can see signposts, the guide in front, then the small group of tourists and there is no guide behind the group. In fact the trail inside the jungle is completely secure. On some parts of this trail, you can see bags of stone because it is elevated. During our visit, we did not see any snakes for example. Each time, the caimans where the monkeys wait for us because the guide brings food. In fact it is a very nice walk in the forest with for each excursion a canoe ride. My favourite excursion is “Cocha Perdida”
Very nice discovery of the place with Victor as guide of the Amazon and Christian. Lodge very welcoming beautiful pool, local food. At the small care for tourists 👍👍 ,
Has the most amazing experience on this tour. Everything was so well organised. Our tour guide Richard was a great laugh, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. We seen so many animals and bugs. Accommodation is great, very comfy beds. Food is great, very big portions, you won't go hungry. Highly recommend 😊
We are very happy to know that you had a good experience with us. Thank you for trusting Cultural Immersion
The centre is very well organised with a good standard of food and lodging. The trips are excellent, especially Sandoval lake and the Parrot lick but not the 'Rescue Centre' which was poorly kept with animals that appeared very distressed. Our guide - Yomi was excellent
I looked everywhere for good reviews and photos of any tour in the amazon, until I came across this. Grethel was great from when we made contact to the moment we arrived! Everything ran smoothly from; flights, boat trips, tours, food and accommodation. It was refreshing switching off from the world. The ecolodge had plenty of entertainment (bar & happy hour, snooker, darts, food, pool, hammocks with an amazing view looking out at Madre de dios river) with out the internet or service. Our lodge was very clean and had electricity all night. Our guide Eber was lovely and a local to the jungle so we were in safe hands. The manager Marcio was always around and Victor helped me when I had a little accident (thanks if you see this). The tours included visiting lakes, canopy decks, canoeing, feeding monkeys and seeing the milky way in pure darkness and silence! All in all, if you like doing research hopefully this helps with your decision.
Loved the grounds of the lodge and most of the excursions were worth the time. The only excursion I probably would say is a waste of time is the visit of the local tribe and then the farm visit. It's mildly interesting, but I personally would rather be hunting downriver for Pumas. The food was hit or miss. The little huts were great and I loved the pool.

This was a fantastic trip and we really enjoyed all the activities. Our tour guide, Raul, was the best part of the entire experience. He was extremely knowledgable and personable. He joked around and taught us a ton. He also seemed to really enjoy being a guide and helping us to see lots of animals. The food at the lodge was very good and the ambiance was nice as well. We highly recommend this tour and, if you are lucky, you will get Raul as your tour guide!

The lodge was beautiful and comfortable. The tours were engaging and interesting and our Tour guide Louise was phenomenal. The food was delicious, three course meals!
