It was a wonderful evening for our family as we learned more about Brazil history, culture, geography & of course food, plus our chef and his family as he welcomed us into his inviting kitchen. We will always remember this unique experience!!
Thank you for sharing such a meaningful review! We love hearing that your whole family enjoyed discovering Brazil through its history, geography, culture, and food. Being welcomed into a local kitchen and meeting the family behind the experience is what makes this kind of culinary exchange so special. We’re honored that it became a memory your family will always remember! Cheers! Maira from Cook in Fiesta
Great experience. Lovely guy
Thank you for joining us! We’re delighted you had a great time and enjoyed the experience with your host. We’ll be happy to share your kind words with him, and we hope you get the chance to discover even more of Brazil’s flavors and food traditions on a future visit. Cheers! Maira from Cook in Fiesta
What a great experience. Good amount of history of Brazilian food and culture and a LOT of eating. Totally stuffed at the end. Chef Joao is a real pleasure. Totally recommend this experience.
Thank you for such a fun review! We’re glad Chef João managed to combine plenty of Brazilian food with enough history and cultural context to make the tasting more meaningful—and apparently enough food to leave you completely stuffed! 😄 We love hearing that his personality added to the experience as much as the dishes themselves. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we’ll be sure to share it with João! Cheers! Maira from Cook in Fiesta
Ronaldo was an amazing chef and great company. He explained all about the food he was cooking and it was all delicious. He also taught us a lot of things we didn’t know about Brazil
Thank you for your wonderful review! 🌴 We're thrilled Ronaldo made the tasting experience both delicious and educational. Sharing Brazil's incredible ingredients and the stories behind them is what makes this experience so special. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words! Cheers! Maira from Cook in Fiesta
We had an amazing night. This is such a great experience . Joao the chef was such a good cook and a lovely man too. We enjoyed getting to know him whilst watching him cook and learning a few tips from him. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it too ! Joao was so kind . He got us out of a sticky situation. We had visited the ibirapuera parc before hand intending to get an uber to the tasting session but uber was declining our card for an unknown reason ! And it was also going dark too. I had to what’s app him and let him know we were struggling to get to the venue . He ordered us an uber and allowed us to pay cash to him when we got there . Thank you so much - you saved us ! And what a great evening . Well worth the money . Would recommend to anyone
What a wonderful review, thank you. We are so glad João made the night feel special and that you enjoyed both the food and the care he showed you 😊 Cheers, Maira from Cook in Fiesta

The food was great and our host was so knowledgeable. We had a great time with Chef Ronaldo learning about the local foods and different styles of cooking. We also enjoyed all the stories and conversations. We now have a great list of things to buy and dishes to make.
What a lovely review, thank you. We are so happy Ronaldo made the tasting so rich in food, stories, and conversation 🍞 Cheers, Maira from Cook in Fiesta
An experience beyond the ordinary. We expected a nice restaurant and then we come to a restaurant in a converted garage. Ronaldo (chef and owner) met us outside and invited us to try some things for ourselves, told us about Brazilian food and drink in a lighthearted way. We felt very welcome and when we went with Ronaldo to two other places to try their dishes, we talked about much more than food too.
Tack så mycket. Vi är glada att ni uppskattade den unika och personliga upplevelsen med Ronaldo, både i köket och ute i staden 😊 Vänliga hälsningar, Maira från Cook in Fiesta
Fantastic evening with Ronaldo who offered a lot of different exciting things to both eat and drink. We thought it would be more like a pretty nice restaurant where we were served right after right, but we ended up in what we interpreted as an old garage turned into a restaurant - but right now also had to fill in as a garage when the car that needs fixing needed somewhere to stand. 😄 At the restaurant we ended up directly in the kitchen where we got to help make caipirinha and then be there and watch as different things were cooked while Ronaldo told us a lot about the different ingredients and products. We also got to feel the difference between the textures of tapioca in different shapes and then taste tapioca pancake both with dulce de leche and with guava jam. But eating fresh guava tasted like foot sweat - with small gravel (small giant hard grains). 😀 We had expected a very strict and honestly rather boring but tastefully interesting evening but it was a super nice and very fun evening. I can really, really recommend this experience! It was so long ago we booked so I do not remember how much we paid but it was guaranteed worth the money! So much more experience than just tasting a lot of food. 😊
Ronaldo is a very nice man who is passionate about what he does. He speaks good English and explains in a clear and educational way about the food we got to try. Walking into his restaurant is an experience in itself. He really invites himself and makes the culinary experience an adventure. The fact that we also got to go to two typical eateries in the neighborhood was a very positive surprise.
Tack så mycket. Vi är glada att du uppskattade Ronaldos passion och sätt att dela med sig av både mat och kunskap på ett så tydligt och personligt sätt 😊 Vänliga hälsningar, Maira från Cook in Fiesta
