Booking this tour with Charles was a breeze. He's very prompt in answering all questions. Tour was well organised. The guide assigned to me was fabulous. Although I requested for a non smoking guide, Mike was a smoker. He was very funny, kind, friendly and helpful that I forgave him for smoking. Never in the car though. He was also a good singer. All the places I visited were mesmerising. The rice terraces, the cruise, Ruyi Peak must not be missed. Spent overnight at Yangshuo and watched Impression Liu Sanjie light show. Totally impressive. The local dish called beer fish was very delicious too. The dish was huge. Good for sharing. Charles organised a perfect tour for me. If you visit Guilin, contact Charles.

Charles was wonderful to work with, and put together a fantastic 3-day itinerary seeing all of the amazing sites that Guilin has to offer. We also had a fantastic tour guide with Mike. Mike was incredibly attentive and punctual, and was so much fun to travel with. He provided a lot of historical background to the sites we were seeing. We opt for Charles in choosing our local tours. It was fantastic as we were upfront on what we wanted to do and all our expectations are met. We have our own private car with driver and an English speaking guide. Henry, our guide, was lovely, knowledgeable and very helpful. There was a lot of flexibility incorporated into our daily itinerary. For example, we love local cuisine and local produce (fruits/snacks). Henry brought us to a local fruit market and a few shop recommendations that is not touristy. One of the highlights was a stop at the tea institute where we have a tea ceremony and an education on how tea was prepared. The hotel we were booked in was very nice, good break buffet included and central in Guilin city. The tour arrangements were top notch. Charles even assisted in providing the necessary invitation letter for Chinese visa application. All in all, I would highly recommend Charles’ Tour Company and would book a tour with him again.

Forest, who from now on will always be our friend, is a very good guy. You feel like you can trust him from the very beginning, and he is also willing to help always. The tour is very complete, and you have plenty of time to do everything without rushing. We saw some of the most beautiful landscapes ever, and I think it was because Forest cared enough so that we had truly the best experience. He is also a good driver, and, above all, someone who we enjoyed being around with. Thank you, and big hugs from Spain to Forest and Charles :)

Charles planned a phenomenal 3 day tour for us. From the start of contact to the end of the trip, Charles was very responsive and helpful. I especially appreciate the understanding and the flexibility that was given on top of our planned itinerary. I was traveling with my two senior parents. When I requested a bigger car, Charles made it happen right away. He even helped us arrange our transport to the train station which wasn’t part of the tour. Everything went smoothly.
