3-hours Guided Tour with tasting in Palermo

Description
Departing from the local office (Discesa dei Giudici n.21), cycle through Palermo at a relaxing, leisurely pace. Palermo is very flat, so the 3-hour tour is appropriate for all ages and fitness levels. You will pass through the architecturally impressive Piazza Bellini and Pizza Pretoria with their examples of Arab, Norman, Byzantine, and Spanish art. Then, ride across the “Cassaro” to see San Francesco church, Piazza Marina and the oldest giant Ficus tree in Europe. You will also see the ancient palaces from the Spanish Inquisition and the amazing Spasimo church. Ride along the waterfront, on the huge grass overlooking the sea and the harbor, heading to the first Arab castle on the charming port of Cala. Afterwards, stop for a tasting of unique, regional street food.

This is hands down the best way to see palermo...chiara and anna are fantastic guides and their system with little earphones meant that we were learning about the history and culture of this beautiful city the whole time. The food stop was fantastic. Excellent value for money. Heartily recommended!
We loved this way to discover several districts of Palermo and some Sicilian dishes. Chiara is passionate and very invested. It's not just a bike ride. You'll learn a lot. She speaks English very well. It was a pleasure to discover some neighborhoods and learn about Sicilian culture and the city of Palermo. I really recommend this activity which allowed us to return to some places to visit them at length. Chiara's advice is very relevant. Thanks again to her.
We often book a tour on a bicycle to get to know a city. It is actually always educational, interesting and fun. This trip with Chiara enters our top 3 with no problem. She was born and raised in Palermo. She not only has information about the city, but also the feeling, heartbeat, tasty snacks, handy tips and above all she gives insights into the life of the city. It was wonderful chaos, emotion, it really was Sicily. We highly recommend a trip at Chiara.
An excellent 3 hour cycle tour of Palermo. Chiara made it fun and interesting, her knowledge of Palermo is outstanding. Loved hearing about the history, culture and food.
‘ Do this on Day 1 of your visit to Palermo’ was our friend’s advice and it was absolutely right. A must as a key site identifier for what to visit in the city Chiara’s trip around the beautiful and interesting sights of Palermo was brilliant. She shared knowledge about the history of Sicily, Palermo and Italy by comfortable ear phones during the trip- much more engaging than using a guide book. The cycling was easy, it felt safe and the lessons on how to cross the roads in Palermo were much appreciated!! Most of all, Chiara was so warm and friendly and lit up the tour with her passion for Palermo and Sicily.
Such a wonderful experience, my only regret is that i did it at the end of my trip. I wish i did it at the start because it gives you a great overall idea of what there is to see in Palermo (there is ALOT). The bike tour also shows your how close and accessible everything is. Only had 2 hills that got me a little out of breath and we stopped 3 times for some yummy food. Chiara has a wonderful personality that makes the whole tour much more enjoyable.I would recommend this for anyone!!
This tour exceeded all expectations! Chiara is brilliant as your guide. She is knowledgeable of Italian and Sicily history, customs and architecture. She is passionate about her city of Palermo. Shared observations and directions through earphones was a plus. Several recommendations for activities, events and sites to visit. Open to all questions. And Chiara is a delightful and funny person. Lovely experience.
I recommend this bike ride first of all. Chiara was born and raised in Palermo. She has a great passion for her hometown and knows how to convey that (in clearly understandable English) to the group. Our group consisted of about 12 people. Thanks to the earpieces you get, you won't miss any info.
Great tour with awesome knowledgeable guide who actually owns the business. We used e-bikes but the route really doesn't require pedal assistance. Very safe, we never felt uncomfortable. Most of the route is in traffic calmed areas. Well worth the money.
We had a fantastic time. Chiara was very friendly and made the tour super interesting, visiting some of the most important places in Palermo. The tour was extremely well organised and the audio equipment was great so we could easily hear Chiara’s excellent commentary. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you Chiara and Daniele.
