Our supervisor Serena was really good and passionate about Sicily and that we all got a good experience. It was a really good way to experience Ragusa. Can definitely be recommended to others.
Wonderful and insightful tour. You’ll learn about the wonderful history and walk from one end of the town to the other. While stopping and taking in the beautiful architecture. This is a tour that leans more towards educational purposes and historical context rather than modern day cultural experiences and exploration.
Serena deserves more than 5 stars! Captivating, friendly, and interesting. Absolutely recommended! Grazie mille Serena.
Informative tour comes highly recommended. Serena was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Ragusa.
Fantastic walking tour with guide Serena. This was a lovely tour covering both upper Ragusa and the beautiful lower Ragusa Ibla. Serena has a deep knowledge of the region and we learned a lot about both sections of the city, while stopping at numerous churches and palazzos. There were numerous amazing photo opportunities as well. Ragusa is well worth visiting and this tour is highly recommended.
Very nice tour the super prepared Serena guide made us appreciate the history of this very interesting city. Super recommended
We started in Ragusa Superior and wandered through the area and then into Ragusa Ibla, working our way downhill. It's a lot of walking with many stairs, so not for those with mobility issues. The Baroque style pointed out on the buildings and inside the churches is beautiful and something we don't always take the time to notice. We ended in the garden, which is stunning and shouldn't be missed. As for our guide, she was absolutely the best! Thorough, knowledgeable, and a person you want to spend time with. 💖
Serena provided us with a wealth of knowledge about both the architecture and the history of Ragusa. We would have missed so much without her guidance. She is extremely knowledgeable and presented in a fun and entertaining way. It was a pleasure spending the afternoon with her.
We had an excellent walking tour with Serena. She shared a wealth of knowledge about the Baroque architecture in both upper and lower Ragusa, along with rich historical context and insights into the local culture, people, and cuisine across different periods. Many architectural details can easily be overlooked by an untrained eye, both inside and outside the city’s buildings. Serena highlighted these features and brought them to life with the stories and meanings behind them. This tour was truly a great value and highly worthwhile.
Serena gave an impressive detailed explanation of the history and architecture of upper and Ragusa Ibla. We thoroughly enjoyed our time which was an easy stroll down the slopes of Ragusa.
