I cannot recommend Anna Rickards highly enough. This was, without question, the finest private walking tour I have ever experienced. From the moment we met, Anna was warm, welcoming, engaging, and genuinely interested in creating a day that reflected my interests rather than following a fixed script. She tailored the tour perfectly, introducing me not only to Glasgow's history and architecture, but also to its character, creativity, and everyday life. Her flexibility allowed us to explore hidden gardens, local neighborhoods, shops, and places I never would have found on my own. Anna is an exceptional storyteller, a talented artist, and wonderful company. Our conversations ranged from Glasgow's history and culture to art, literature, and life itself. By the end of the tour, I felt as though I had spent the day with a friend rather than a guide. Because of Anna, I fell in love with Glasgow. She helped me see beyond the city's gritty exterior to its warmth, vibrancy, humor, and humanity. It was a truly magical and unforgettable experience, and one of the highlights of my trip to Scotland. If you have the opportunity to tour Glasgow with Anna, don't hesitate. I am deeply grateful for the day we shared, and I recommend her with my whole heart.
We did a city tour of Glasgow with Anna. She was sweet and very knowledgeable. We had my 85 year old mother along and while she did great for the first 1/2, it was easy to get her an Uber when she got tired. It was a beautiful day and fun to have someone show us all the pretty sites in the city!
We had Liberty for our guide and she was very knowledgeable about the architecture and history of this city. We walked all over town and learned more about how it evolved into current day. Her pace was just right and we felt like she really knew her ‘stuff’. Since this was our first trip to Glasgow, we appreciated all of her insight.
Great tour!! We had Zhana and she explained stories and facts with great detail and enthusiasm. Highly recommend booking with her!
Had a great time with Zhanna. She was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun. Highly recommend.
Elaine took us on a 3 hour private walking tour of Glasgow. Her knowledge of the city and Scotland made the tour interesting and fun. Her love for Scotland came through and made the tour even more special. I highly recommend Elaine and the walking tour.
Great day trip from Edinburgh. Scott met us at the rail station and led us through the city in an informative and relaxed tour. He was great at showing us historical and cultural ( murals were beautiful ) points of interest. He also shared spots to get a great meal, which we did take his advice for a delicious lunch at an Italian restaurant.
Elaine Macleod was fantastic! So knowledgeable and friendly. She managed to squeeze everything in, even after our flight delayed us. My family and I had the best time. I cannot recommend her enough.
Zahanna our guide was great, she took us around the city and even recommended a couple of restaurants which were amazing. If we didn’t do the tour we would have missed a lot of things.
Zhanna was great. Lots of energy and information. Clear communicator and very well informed of the history and culture of her city. Great 3 hour tour.
