Wonderful cultural tour!

The cultural bike tour of Livingstone was one of the highlights of our four week trip. Wezi was a fabulous guide who took us through several communities and a market around Livingstone. It was a great way to learn about and see how people live in the area. Thanks for a wonderful and educational tour!

Cultural bicycle tour in Livingston

My wife and I went on the culture tour with Wes, we really enjoyed the gentle bike ride and saw things you wouldn’t generally see, for example the local village and the quarry (a real eye opener), the work Wes is doing for the school is commendable, some of the money raised from this bike tour goes to improve the kids lives All in all a very enjoyable experience with an excellent guide.

Highly Recommended Tour

I'm so glad we did this fascinating tour of local villages in Livingstone. Wezi was a great guide, looking after us and explaining everything very clearly. The tour was just about the right length and exceeded our expectations. Its also good to know that some of the tour fees go to support the inspirational Linda school that we visited along the way.

Operator response

Thank you so much for your help and support.

MUST DO tour when visiting Vic Falls

We absolutely loved this tour with Wezi and Eustice. It was the highlight of our trip to Victoria Falls and probably our entire 3 week trip. I really urge anyone visiting to make sure this is on their list. The people in Livingstone are so kind and beautiful. We enjoyed giving out lollipops to the kids and you could see it made their entire day. Come prepared with cash donations as we used these to thank many for their time spent with us.

Thank you so much, it was really a great day and good to our community.

Lollipops Lollipops Lollipops, What a Tour, Best Ever. A marvellous tour so real and authentic.

This was as great as Victoria Falls, the interaction with locals and Wezi’s knowledge was 10/10. The people are so lovely and hard working, we gave all the US dollars we had and wished we had more, small amounts mean so much to them and can really make such a difference to there day and week. Our greatest joy was the look on the kids faces when we brought them chuppa chup lollipops, it was priceless and they were so polite, Wezi’s tour is the best tour we gave ever done in all our years of travel and his love for his community shines through, keep up the great work Wezi.

Bicycle tour

One of my favorite tours I've done! The highlight for me was going to Linda and visiting the school there and getting to interact with the school children and answering the questions. Wezi, the guide/owner is doing great things, he gives back to local community with money made from this tour. When he told me that it made me happy I booed this tour because it's helping the local community.

Perfect for those who want an insight in the real lives of the locals....nothing fake or curated about this tour.

Wezi & Eustice were amazing...so friendly and knowledgeable! From the moment we met them they made us feel like friends and showed us around "their" part of the town. It was not only informative, but we got to see real life and meet people as part of going around their daily routine. I'd highly recommend the tour for anyone who doesn't want a commercial look at daily life! As a bonus, you get to see where a large part of the tour cost goes and how it makes a difference to real people's lives.

Definitely do this tour l!

Do this tour, you won’t regret it. Eustace our guide was great and he rode with our 6 year old, (125cm and 27kg) on a specially made seat on the back of his bike and provided a helmet so we knew he was safe. Our son rides a bike but I think he was better riding with Eustace due to the heat and uneven surfaces he’s not used to. We were so glad we did this eye opening and educational tour, we met real people and saw real Zambian life, the challenges they face. We visited a family home, a working quarry (no machinery, all done by hand), a local market and the Linda Community School for orphaned and vulnerable children. Everyone was so friendly, the children running out of the villages to see us and shout ‘hi’ and often run alongside our bikes. The ride itself was not onerous, lots of stops and we didn’t find it hard work at all. We spent ages at the school and Eustace was very patient with us, even though our tour ended up being 4 hours instead of 3 as we chatted so much to the people. He was an excellent guide and taught us lots. I was glad I took some money along as I was able to buy some bits from the market and also some amazing hand sewn bags by some local ladies to the school who have a sewing initiative. We saw lots of amazing things on our Africa holiday but this tour especially will stay with me and i would recommend everyone should do this tour. Don’t hesitate to book it!

Highly recommend

Highly recommend this tour if you have teens and want them to experience Livingstone from the perspective of local residents living outside of the touristed portions of the city. We stopped at a community school, a surface quarry being worked over by men, women and children, and a private home. We made a small donation at each of these to compensate people for their time. Really appreciated the guides, who were very informative and took care to answers all of our many questions. Tour lasted about 3hrs 30mins but a lot of that was at the stops. Total riding was about 10 miles. Last stop was at a local open air market in Dambwa. Great place to buy crafts and fabrics at much much lower prices than the Mukini curio market.
