My friend and I did a 3 day 2 night tour to Song Kul Lake. We were picked up and dropped off in bishkek. Everything was organized for us. It was truly the most authentic experience we could’ve asked for. We ate local cuisine and played with kids from the campsite. Our guide Adyl was so great. Despite the language barrier we still managed to become acquainted and learn more about Kyrgyzstan culture and language. We are definitely planning to come back again in the future!! Even if you are going in May like we did, I would highly recommend to bring extra clothes for warmth. We experienced some snow which was beautiful but cold!! Don’t underestimate the change in weather
