The trip was amazing, and our guide Mostafa was incredible!!!!. He made the trip worthwhile, and his humor along with his teaching of ancient Egyptian culture was very much worth the trip. The ship was nice as well, but the A/C would often cut out making the room uncomfortable. The WiFi on the ship isn’t very reliable. The ship staff was awesome, and always there to help if they could. But, our guide Mostafa is definitely a 5 star man. If you go on this trip request him.
We booked this the day before as the other operator canceled on us. Viator even contacted them to confirm they have the luxury option available, so I booked it. Then they offered us to switch to a Dahibaya, sending pictures videos of the boat. That looked very nice and I agreed. The boat we were then given was not the same, basically not luxury boat but 30yr old relic. They offered a 20% discount which I accepted as had no other choice. The boat uses a very load motor engine to run the pumps and light, and you hear and smell it from every cabin and it ruins any semblance of peace and quite that they so advertise all the time. They have not heard about battery technology even though with what we paid for this they should be easily be able to afford this. If they would do this change, the rest would be fine. They also asked us to visit Edfu temple at 5am. No idea why again they force us to wake up again so early. Some random story about lock us but frankly I trust nothing they say anymore. Do the cruise for the tick the box effect, but certainly not to relax.
The room smelled strongly of fuel, the staff spoke bad English, the shower was broken, the visiting hours, often very early, unfavorable. The whole ship was rather dirty. In Luxor, the ship has docked far from the city.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Prior to your arrival, we were in contact several days in advance to arrange all details of your trip, and I remained in touch throughout your stay to follow up and help avoid any inconvenience. Your reservation was confirmed on a 5-star deluxe cruise, and we booked the vessel exactly as requested. Had we been informed during the trip about the issues you mentioned—such as the room condition or any service concerns—we would have done our best to assist immediately. It would have been possible to change your cabin to one more suitable for you, or even arrange a different cruise if needed, as guest comfort is always our priority. Regarding the docking location in Luxor, the cruise ships must dock at their designated marinas, and many vessels berth at similar or even farther from the city center depending on port availability and traffic on the Nile. We truly regret that some aspects of the experience were not as expected. Thank you For your Time .
Very mixed experience. Pros: I could booked spontanousley (for the next day). They are flexibel (pick up, leaving out stuff etc.). There are few operators that offer two nights. The food was good. The staff on the boat is friendly. The nile is beautiful and it's a nice way to travel. The cabins are ok. The guide at kom ombo who's name is Amany Abosadik was really good. She stood out because the others were not so good, especially in Luxor. Cons: not so well organised. Late. Expensive (December!). Communication via whatsapp not great. The schedule of the cruise is way too full. The cruises have timetables which means you have to get up super early to visit the tempels in very little time. Especially the visit to Edfu was a mess. I didnt do abu simbel with them (thanks God) and decided to leave the tour early in Luxor. I was asked for a tip to get the transfer to my hotel in Luxor, which should be included. In Luxor we arrived at 4pm and there were no visits organised on that day, so we went to the city on our own. There are just too many cruises on the nile (92 per day when I was there). You get a window cabin, but will be parked in between other cruise ships so you can enjoy the view only while driving. I wouldn't book it again.
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We appreciate your positive comments regarding the Nile scenery, food quality, onboard staff, and short-notice booking flexibility. We regret that certain aspects did not fully meet your expectations. Please note that Nile cruise itineraries operate on fixed schedules set by cruise authorities, which may require early departures and limited time at some sites, especially during high season. I would like to clarify to you that *Sailing times, docking arrangements, and marina conditions are beyond our control.* Tipping is entirely optional and always at the guest’s discretion. We value your feedback and thank you for sharing your experience.
Super great experience, awesome price, very relaxing. It was nice to get away from the noise and bustle of the cities for a couple days and this cruise made everything easy and relaxing. Drinks were cheap. The cabin was comfortable with a great picture window. We did get food sickness, not necessarily from the boat food, but they gave us medicine. The main concierge on our boat was super friendly and helpful. All around awesome experience.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you had an enjoyable Nile Cruise experience. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you again.
Fantastically well organized so that everything is smoothly and smoothly articulated, from the boat to the guides on the ground

We really enjoyed the experience. All the guides were spectacular. The attention from the agency is very good, they always helped us in our consultations. We had booked in the other app before leaving with Viator and 6 days before we were cancelled. Luckily we could make this one. It is one of the best ways to make temples, although you have little time and there are many people, because all cruises arrive at the same time, the guides are very patient when it comes to giving you room for photos.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your tour. It was our pleasure to host you, and we look forward to welcoming you on another adventure in the future
The family consists of five people: two in their 70s, two in their 30s, and a three-year-old. The balance between sightseeing and spending time on board was good. My guide, Mustafa, was knowledgeable and explained things with humor. The first day started at 4am. It was three hours one way to the Temple of Absimbel, which was packed into a minivan and was pretty hard. But the cruise afterwards was comfortable. It was early morning on the second and third days. Together they left around 7:00. However, this allowed us to visit the ruins and fully enjoy the cruise. On the third day we visited the ruins, there were only five members of our family in the minivan, so it was hot outside but comfortable inside. It was also good to be able to keep in close contact with the guides and the people at the company. If I had time, I might prefer a leisurely cruise such as three or four nights, but I felt that even two nights would not be enough. We were worried about sightseeing in the extreme heat as we could only choose this tour because we didn't have much time, but we were satisfied as a result.

I have rated this tour ‘bad’ since the initial arrangements were a disaster. Our driver attempted to abandon us at the side of the road in Aswan without us knowing where or how to get to our ship. This resulted in a very stressful argument and us nearly missing the ship. Had the operator communicated arrangements effectively from the outset this might never have happened. I’ve met enough Egyptians who speak English! [Please take note]. That said after that finally getting to our ship, everything went swimmingly. The MV Nile Marquis at 30+ years is showing her age, but the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The food (not 5*) was acceptable and the staff polite and hospitable (I hope we left sufficient tip to show this!). The sun deck had a large chilled plunge pool and plenty of space with cover from the sun to watch the Nile go by. Notwithstanding the shambles of the journey from Abu Simbel [enough said!], the other tours were well run and the guides pleasant and informative. Though I wish we had had the option of not having have the ubiquitous carriage drawn by an emaciated scouring horse at Edfu.
We had an absolutely incredible time on our two-night cruise, and it was even better than we imagined. The trip was well organized, incredibly safe, and everything flowed seamlessly from start to finish. The boat, the sites, and the whole experience were beautiful. A special thank you to our travel agent, who truly went above and beyond for us. She worked around the clock, even helping us at 11pm when we arrived in Aswan, to ensure everything was in place. She was responsive, efficient, and made sure every detail was taken care of, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. Her care and dedication were evident in every step, and we’re so grateful for her support throughout this journey. Highly recommend this company if you want a stress-free, well-organized, and memorable experience in Egypt.
