Great experience, amazing views! Everywhere we went was worth picture taking. Our tour guide was also very nice, friendly, and understanding. (Joseph)
The itinerary was excellent! Our tour guide, Stacy, gave very detailed explanations throughout the trip and constantly made sure that no one was left behind. She truly cared about the group. Highly recommended!
We had a full 52 seat bus on this tour which made the experience poor. First thing from guides mouth after hello was her tip expectations. Too many people and too little time at key natural attractions. Excess time spent at Fairmont and Banff Springs hotels just to view the hotel building and take money for lunch. and too little time at key tourist sites . We seemed to arrive with a multitude of other buses so venues packed with tourists - wish we had done this using public transport and the local free roam buses as that would have been so easy and far cheaper. Its worth doing a little research you can get to Banff for $10 from airport and local Banff bus service is free / cheap. Day 2 of this tour we drove through Banff 4 times, hardly going out of city limits so super easy on local bus or even local tour - wish we had know this. Would not recommend.
Hi Keith, thanks for your feedback! Banff is uniquely situated between many attractions that makes it convenient for visitors to travel to. They do have bus routes for each attraction, however waiting for buses and figuring out how to navigate the routes will be less convenient, which is why we provide coaches with planned routes for our guests. Since it’s summer, it’s inevitable to have lots of guests that want to view the mountains whilst the weather is so pleasant. Visiting in the off-season is also an excellent option, as you’ll get to experience the forests covered in vibrant tones in autumn, or glitter like diamonds in winter. We try to spread out a day’s time between attractions so that visitors can get the best of the Rockies. We have listed the visit times in 'What to Expect', so that our visitors know before they book the tour. Feel free to visit again for an in-depth exploration of your favorite views.
