Description

Your 3-Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour stands out because it combines authentic Sahara adventure with comfort, organization, and personal attention. From crossing the High Atlas Mountains and visiting the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou to walking through Todra Gorge and riding camels at sunset in the Erg Chebbi dunes, every stop is carefully planned to balance scenic beauty, culture, and adventure without feeling rushed. We operate in comfortable air-conditioned vehicles with experienced English-speaking driver-guides, small group sizes for a more enjoyable journey, and a well-located desert camp experience under the stars with traditional Berber music in the evening. For added flexibility, guests who prefer not to ride camels can transfer to the camp by 4x4 at no extra cost, and optional quad biking is available for extra excitement. This tour is designed to deliver a genuine Sahara experience while ensuring comfort, reliability, and smooth logistics from pickup to drop-off.

Good Experiance

We did the 4 day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech. If you want to see all of Morocco this is the way to go. It was a lot of driving, but we saw a lot. You have to have a lot of cash to tip everyday with every activity. Make sure you have water with you every time you step out of the van. We visited in June so there was not a lot of crowds which helped, but it was really hot.

Amazing!

We had Yassin as a driver. He was very good, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our trip very much. Just to know, it is a lot of sitting in the car, but the stops are very nice and a must see!

Incredible experience

We had booked to have a guide in French. We were put in a group where the guide said he didn't speak much French and where all the other participants spoke English. He didn't seem to want to give me the explanations in French, although he told me he could do it if we didn't understand his explanations in English. Finally, during our 2nd stop on the 1st day, he changed us to a group so that we could have a guide in French, which was greatly appreciated. We really appreciated our 2nd guide, Youssef. This activity was the highlight of our trip. Everything we visited on our way to the desert, in addition to the desert itself, was great. The 1st accommodation was really very clean and comfortable. We had booked a luxury camp and are very happy we did. The people in our group who had taken a base camp were very disappointed with their tent in the desert, which was extremely hot according to them. We had brought snacks for ourselves to avoid having to pay for lunches that were not included, which was a very good idea. The people in our group who ate at restaurants during our lunch stops said it was too expensive (about 120-150 MAD) for what they got and the taste of the food left something to be desired. Although we were there in July, the temperature was not too intense for us. In short, we recommend this activity without hesitation.

Wedding day

Everything from pickup to departure worked well. The sand dunes at Merzouga were magical and the experience well worth the long bus ride. Early breakfast day 3 to see the amazing sunrise. The tents were of high standard and the beds were comfortable. We had air conditioning which was nice considering the season. Expect some bugs like beetles and other things when the tents are in the middle of the desert. Someone in the party had even seen a scorpion so little vigilance is recommended. Poor pressure in the showers in the tents but still amazing THAT you can shower. Can really recommend the trip as it is a memory for life. Bring plenty of tip money as local guides, camel keepers and others expect a penny.
