One of the best tours we have ever taken. Dash was amazinng. The whole family enjoyed the tour. His insights and stories were great. Look forward to tour with him again soon.
Sky was an amazing tour guide. Her passion for history combined with her extensive knowledge made the tour fun, memorable and educational. It was the perfect amount of time and we could stay after the tour to continue exploring the American History Museum. It was well worth the price of admission. This was our second tour with Unscripted. I would highly recommend this group!
Hi there, thank you for the glowing recommendation! We are thrilled Sky’s passion made the history come alive for you. It’s exactly why we designed this tour—to give you that VIP context so you can explore even deeper on your own afterward. Thanks for celebrating the Semiquincentennial with us!
This was an informative and engaging tour that kept a great pace. Highly recommend to those looking for factual American history and limited time during the day or limited days in the city.
Hi again, Heather! Thank you for spending even more of your Washington DC trip with us at Unscripted Tours. It was a pleasure to get to show you around on a special private tour (as it happened to be a quiet day) and have time to chat and learn from you as well. Our America's 250th VIP Tour was designed exactly for travelers like you—packing the most factual, engaging history into a great pace so you can maximize your limited time in the city. Navigating the National Archives and Portrait Gallery is so much better in a small group. Thanks for being a fantastic repeat guest, and we hope to see you again next time you are in town!
We originally scheduled this tour to the Archives and Portrait Gallery, but quickly shifted gears after the Shutdown, thanks to our incredible guide, Laura! She took us to the Portrait gallery as planned, then substituted the Smithsonian National Museum of American History for the Archives. Her incredible knowledge and interesting anecdotes gave us a wonderful experience and we couldn't have been happier! Thank you to Unscripted tours for a wonderful DC experience!
Thank you for joining us! We've been working hard to make sure our guests are still able to have a great vacation despite the shutdown. I'm glad you liked the combination of Portrait Gallery and American History Museum. We hope to see you again!
Incredible tour of The Portrait Gallery and The Museum of American History (substituted for closed National Archives due to government shutdown)
Thank you for joining us and the kind compliment! We've been working hard to ensure our guests still have a great vacation despite the shutdown; we really appreciate you being here and bringing such a positive outlook. Hope to see you again!
Dash was friendly, so informative and shared a wealth of information with us. We would highly recommend him.
It was a pleasure spending the day with the two of you! Learned a lot from you as well, wishing you the best on your next adventure. -Dash
The National Archives tour was exceptional. The enthusiastic tour guide Dash had a command of facts and detail that made the Declaration of Independence & Constitution come alive. An experience that won’t soon be forgotten. Highly recommended!
This was our fourth tour with Unscripted. Led by Shane, excellent, friendly guide who really made history come alive on this tour. We really enjoyed it, first time seeing Declaration, constitution and bill of rights in person. Second half of tour continues the history lesson in the second museum. Can’t say enough about how great this tour group is, you won’t be sorry.
It was great to be with someone who pointed out the key things at the museums. There is so much it can be overwhelming. Meg knew exactly how much to show us!
Meg was great! Lots of inside info on written documents, info in the murals. Great for the money! Hit the highlights
