Backstreets of CDMX Centro Histórico

We loved the CDMX Centro Histórico Culinary Backstreets tour. Eduardo's perspective as a formally trained chef with a restaurant in town wasintriguing. He traced the roots of Mexican history to show us how key ingredients evolved throughout the different periods of Mexico. Every stop was delicious, and they were definitely places we would not have sounds on our own. This was our eighth tour with Culinary Backstreets, and we would rank it towards the top.

Don’t miss this tour with Eduardo!

Amazing tour! Eduardo, our guide, was knowledgeable, charismatic, and engaging. The food was amazing. Also it was great to actually eat with locals, rather than all the other tourists. Our only complaint was that the tour ran long (but some might say we got additional value for our money). Highly recommend!

Choose this one!

Fantastic way to learn more about Mexico City history, while eating your way thru the day! Bring an appetite! At least 6-7 stops, all the good was delicious. Some off the beaten path places with great food. Rigel, our guide, was fantastic! Knowledgeable, passionate about Mexican food, history, and culture. It was quite easy to spend 5+ hrs with him! There are alot of food tour options in Mexico City. This one was exceptional! Highly recommend!
