2 IN 1 Moremi Game Reserve Day Trip

Description
Depart for Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi Game Reserve is widely considered one of the finest wildlife reserves in Africa. It has a diversity of habitats, combining acacia forests and mophane woodlands with floodplains and lagoons. Our guides will take you to the park’s most beautiful areas, such as Third Bridge, Bodumatau, and Dead Tree Island. The game is plentiful in these areas. Sightings include elephants, buffalo, giraffe, lions, hyenas, jackals, and many different antelopes, including the red lechwe and the shy sitatunga, a web-footed antelope perfectly adapted to life in the swamps. Wild dogs, whose numbers are rapidly dwindling elsewhere, are regularly sighted in the Moremi Game Reserve.

First, this was one of the coolest tours I've ever done, and it was well worth the money! We saw tons of elephants, giraffes, antelope, wild dogs, and even a hyena! (Sadly no lions or leopards in June) However, it did come with a steep price tag, and for the price I felt it was poorly organized. Our guide got lost in the park, and after that, everything seemed very rushed--the hour and a half drive to the boats beat us up as the driver was trying to make up lost time and the best part of the trip (the boat ride) was seemingly cut short to get back on schedule. Despite this, we got back to Maun two hours late, which I understand was very unusual and possibly dangerous. Definitely recommend this experience, just maybe with a different operator (or maybe I just caught them on a bad day)
Good Day Darrell, thank you very much for choosing Marvelous Mobile Safaris.... First of all i would like to apologize for the experience that you had during your safari with us, Marvelous Mobile Safaris features safaris being led by knowledgeable and well trained professional guides with vast experience in all our National Parks and Game Reserves, this is our first time to hear about a lost guide in the wilderness. The guide was not lost he was directed to a sighting by other local guides that it was unfortunate he didn't find lions where they were. One of you wanted to see lions as he mentioned he didn't see them since birth, the guide was doing his level best to find some for you. Our boat cruise in 2 in 1 in Xakanaxa Lagoon is only 1 hour as mentioned in the itinerary that i am quiet sure it was done. For coming back late to Maun, on our briefing a day before the safari started, we indicated that you might come back late or earlier depending on what to see and you accepted that before we departed. ‘’Our priority is our clients, and we aim to ensure that every client gets the trip they pay for…’’
