Welcome aboard the comfortable and exclusive ship La Paloma for a cruise in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage Site. No other section of the Rhine has such a beautiful line of castles and palaces. On board the La Paloma you can relax and enjoy the view. Start in Koblenz and sail a short distance down the Rhine with a view of the Rhine in front of Koblenz, the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and the famous "Deutsches Eck". At the mouth of the Moselle the ship turns around and heads up the Rhine to Braubach to the Marksburg. The boat trip takes you past the Electoral Palace in Koblenz, the Koblenz Brewery, Lahneck Castle, Stolzenfels Castle and the Königsstuhl in Rhens. In Braubach (Marksburg Castle) the ship turns around and heads back to Koblenz.

Parking garage near the boat boarding area. Neat ship, lovely to open the windows because of the heat Food and drinks can be ordered and that is also expected Bring your own food and drinks is not allowed You will be told about the environment you sail past
I am deeply shocked and appalled by how my 16-month-old daughter and I were treated during today's 2-hour boat trip. My daughter was tired and understandably a little frustrated—completely normal behavior for a toddler who is not even a year and a half old.Instead of showing professionalism or basic human decency, the staff chose to glare at us and roll their eyes for the entire two hours. One female crew member in particular made a deliberate effort to stare us down non-stop, purely to make us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.The fact that grown adults feel the need to shoot daggers at a exhausted baby and intimidate a mother is absolutely disgusting. Because you are on a boat, you cannot leave. I tried the best I could to comfort my toddler and quiet her down; it was a hot day and a bad day for her. Normally she is very happy and quiet.. We were trapped in a hostile, toxic environment created by the very people who are supposed to ensure a safe and pleasant experience.This company is absolutely NOT family-friendly. If you are traveling with young children, avoid this boat tour at all costs. You are paying money to be bullied and targeted by the staff. Shameful.

Tour: Captain's lunch + sightseeing tour Ship: As neat as a pin. Staff: Very well trained and very friendly. Family-run. The food there is a culinary journey in itself, right in the middle of the Rhine. Highly recommended.
The tour, the service, the food, and the drinks were top-notch. We were very satisfied with everything. We would love to repeat such a boat tour with a different route.

What a great ship and excursion. The ride was very interesting. The information over the speaker was easy to hear, both in German and in English. The staff was super friendly and the ship was top-notch! Especially the loving preparation of the food and drinks made it taste twice as good. For us, it was a great start to our day of excursions in Koblenz. 🩵
They offer a wonderful panoramic experience to see the city of Koblenz and sorounding area from a different pespective! What I maybe missed is to make it more clear there are multiple exit options and you do not need to drive back to Koblenz with them but can have an adventure in a different town along the river
Great trip. The boat was punctual, boarding was orderly. It began to rain, but there are large weather tarps hung on the upper deck. We chose table away from the railing and enjoyed the views! Those closer to the railings got wet and soon retreated indoors. The sound system was not the best, but understandable if one really focused. The food service staff were wonderful snd the food good enough. A thoroughly enjoyable time.
We really enjoyed our 2 hour cruise. I’ve visited Koblenz many times and even taken KD’s steamer down to Rudesheim which is amazing. But that’s a full day. This is a nice alternative that I would definitely do again. After a quick tour around the Deutsches Ekt, they cruise up river catching a few castles and plenty of scenery. It’s all narrated in German and English. They had a very nice menu and the prices were very reasonable. We had drinks to start and ice cream on the voyage back. The food others ordered looked great and they had a very nice indoor dining room as well.
