Great , impressive tour . Our driver Jim , lived through the Troubles , and was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of insight and background information. Lots of stops to get out and make pictures.
Great tour to get a better understanding of the origins of the conflict, the understandings, misunderstandings, and motivations of both sides, the impact on real people’s lives even today, the losses and ugliness, the continued provocations, and the real people involved. We got to see all the key landmarks along the way and it always felt like Jimmy was trying to balance the perspectives of both sides. We really appreciated the approach he took through the whole experience while driving us around. Highly recommend this one.
We had Mal as our driver and Tour Guide. He was comical and informative about the murals and history of the political climate here in Belfast, the last 50- 100 years. Very interesting. Mal was a natural orator. Great tour because of his enthusiastic personality.
We had an excellent Black Taxi Tour of Belfast with James as our guide. He made the city’s history come alive in a thoughtful, engaging, and very balanced way. The tour gave real context to the political murals, neighborhoods, and events that shaped Belfast, without ever feeling one-sided. What James shared about the history of NI has stayed with me days later. It was meaningful, informative, and one of the most memorable things we did in Belfast. I would highly recommend this tour and especially James to anyone visiting the city!!
Our tour guide, John, was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. He really shed a bright light on a difficult subject. We highly recommend him. Thanks John, Nancy and Spence
Driver Stephen was so well informed, great personality. Gave a detailed non partisan history and was so interesting to discuss political and cultural issues with. Smart cab, prompt pickup from hotel. Great experience.
We had a 2 hour tour with Ricky. He was amazing! Really friendly and very knowledgeable! We had opportunities to stop and look at different murals and signed our names on the peace wall. Ricky answered any questions we had and we all really enjoyed, a very informative and moving, experience
Hassle free refund! Excellent customer service response. We will reschedule on our next trip for sure.
Stephen was enthusiastic and informative. He covered all the bases. Took us all around Belfast and gave us an unbiased account of the history. He made sure we had enough time to get pictures and answered all of our questions. Good safe driver, clean car. Native to Belfast so he has a lot of personal experience as well. Don’t miss this informative and interesting tour.
Stephen was our guide and he was absolutely excellent. He would pull over the taxi and explain in detail what had happened in certain buildings. He even had color photographs to show us. It’s probably one of the best tours I’ve had in my life.
