Itinerary
These remnants of the mighty castle of Antwerp have seen the town grow and fall. It's here that the town started, so why would we start anywhere else?
The mighty hall of the Butchers reflect their wealth and power in old Antwerp.
The highest church tower of our country - and a marvel of gothic architecture. A sign of the Antwerpian megalomania - or a witness of our ancestor's pious nature?
Discover with me how Antwerp rose from a medieval town into a golden pearl of the Flemish renaissance; follow in the steps of Italian bankers, Spanish inquisitors and our own local merchants who contributed to a rich tapestry of stories for you to discover.

Yves was fantastic! He was an interesting and enthusiastic guide. Gave us a great overview of the history of Antwerp and shared with us the key highlights of the city. Most incredible was his patience and willingness to adapt to us. When our train was canceled, he pushed back our start time and met us at the train station to help us navigate quickly to our hotel so we could drop our bags. Since everyone was hungry he made the first stop a frites shop where we could get a local treat to enjoy on the walk. After the tour followed up with texts of recommendations for restaurants and sights, not only in Antwerp but for our day trips to Bruge and Ghent as well. He was just a great guide. Happy we found him!
Thank you so much for your trust! I'm glad you enjoyed Antwerp at night.
Our guide was so personable and made the trip exactly what we wanted it to be. The sites were very spread and I never would have seen them all if not for this tour.
Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun showing you around in Antwerp, and I hope to see you return one day.
Loved visiting the historic areas in this beautiful city including the castle, center area as well as the shopping areas. Yves was informative and a great story teller. Highly recommend this tour.
Thank you for the kind review! Stay safe during your adventures - and hopefully we'll meet again. Friendly regards, Yves
If you are visiting Antwerp for the first time, you have to start your visit with Yves. His way of telling Antwerp history while showing you around town was fantastic. Was easy to talk to, answered a lot of our questions, and gave us solid food/coffee/beer recommendations. When I do visit Ghent in the future, I know who to call!
Thank you for your kind words! It was a glorious day to discover Antwerp with such a dynamic group of guests! Meeting people like you is why I took this line of work :D
