2 - Hour Private Hilton Head Morning Dolphin Watching / Sail

We had a very nice experience on a beautiful one year old sail boat despite there being little wind. The two gentleman sailing the boat were very informative and enlightened us about the area as well as sharks. We would highly recommend. Located in a nice quiet Mariana. Easy to park.

This was such a great sailing trip! We have sailed with them in the past and have always had such a great experience. The entire family had a great time! Cannot wait to do it again!

Throughly enjoyed the boat experience with Cpt Greg and 1st Mate Dave. They allowed my partner to pilot the boat for a short time. Saw a few dolphins.

We thoroughly enjoyed our sail with Captain Greg and Jacob! We were a group of 5, in town for a low key bachelorette party, and loved the beautiful scenery and relaxing pace of the sail. The Captain treated us to a glass of Prosecco to toast the bride to be, and took the time to let us each experience steering the boat. Even though no dolphins were seen, we loved the experience and highly recommend to groups both big and small.

The crew was kind, instructional, and accommodating - they made sure we had an amazing experience and kept us entertained and informed about dolphins, turtles, and the local area. They’re very knowledgeable about wildlife and the ecosystem and are truly passionate about their jobs. This is a can’t-miss excursion with an expert group and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Paul, Greg, and David are fantastic. Don’t forget to ask them about their favorite sharks!

Our family arrived in Hilton Head and were psyched for our sunset dolphin watching adventure with Anchors Away Sailboat Charters, then we got the call. Our captain for the evening, (not the owner), could not take us out and we were asked if we could reschedule. Unfortunately, we could only make the next morning's charter. We arrived next morning prepared to set sail. We were met by Captain Paul, (the owner), and shortly after the obligatory safety brief and paperwork, we were underway. We were able to sit on the bow and provided cold beverages as Captain Paul motored us out of the marina into open water. First mate Jacob told us about the local area as well as some of the local wildlife and his adventures as Stinky Pete the Pirate. Once we were ready to set sail we returned to the stern where Captain Paul explained the basics of sailing. We cruised along taking in the sunshine, the light winds and the amazing waterfront homes. We enjoyed water, soft drinks, champagne and chocolate as Captain Paul expanded our knowledge regarding local celebrities, sharks, and dolphins. Speaking of which, a pod of dolphins eventually made their presence known. That made the experience for my wife and daughters. My son and I thought it pretty cool too. It was then time to return. We had a great time and learned a lot. Many thanks to Captain Paul and First Mate Jacob. I would rate the charter five stars except that I was really looking forward to a sunset cruise. Captain Paul did provide a rebate because we didn't get what we had signed up for. My tip, call Anchors Away Sailboat Charters directly rather than using Viator TripAdvisor and save yourself any fees. That being said, Viator TripAdvisor responded immediately with our rebate from Captain Paul. Happy sailing!
