Our group had mixed reviews for this experience - the weather impacted it a lot, even though it was early August for our trip it was very windy and cold on the day we went. Not only our group but everyone onboard didn’t look very happy even though they did provide wool blankets for people to wrap up in. I wasn’t cold and did have a nice time riding around the Fjord, but the crew could definitely be more personable. The captain didn’t acknowledge anyone, only one of the crew members spoke very briefly and was available to serve drinks but the tour is prerecorded. The crew almost seemed annoyed to me, I understand the some is just cultural and personality differences but I definitely didn’t feel like they appreciated the business. I said I wouldn’t recommend it because there’s other boat tour options and I would probably try one of those instead if we did it again, but maybe give it a shot and you’ll have better weather and a better experience, I did like the boat and the views.
We did a very enjoyable 2 hour Oslo Fjord Cruise in a lovely older style boat. It wasnt busy and there was very comfortable seating and a small cafe with some limited food and drink options, Highly recommended!
Exactly what I expected
Very smooth ride. Staff was friendly. The audio was in English, so that was very helpful for an American.
You should know that you are on a sailboat without sails. Aside from that, the route is interesting to experience. The only downside is the music, which is uninteresting and too loud, and which takes away from the charm of the outing.
There was more and helpful information provided on the recorded presentation. Crew was helpful in answering my questions. The captain was secluded away from everyone. The recorded presentation could have been a little louder. Although I didn’t ask for them to do that.
Very pleasant and informative trip. The crew was nice and helpful
Tour is pleasant way to spend 2 hours on a good weather day. Would not want to be on it if cold and rainy. Narratives and sights were adequat3
