Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was a great storyteller. It was a hot day and he encouraged us to drink water and stopped in the shade whenever we could. He incorporated architecture, and stories of local figures with the history. He pointed out current restaurants and businesses along the way. It was a great overview of the LODO area. We were glad to have done it at the beginning of our stay.
Great LoDo tour with Will! He was extremely informative and funny. He gave great suggestions for restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend this tour!
I really enjoyed the tour. The guide covered a lot of Denver history in two hours. It was exactly what I was hoping for.
We learned so much about the history of downtown-I've lived here 30+ years and knew very little. Really peaked my interest to learn more!
Disappointing: Tour was cancelled at the last minute. Reason given was “possible rain” although several different weather apps showed rain possibility during the tour hours as 0%.
HI kent, thank you for the review, I am sorry you feeel this way but it was indeed raining that day, and the weather apps I use which have been accurate for the tour showed it was going to rain during the tour time. And it did. I contacted with more than enough time to find anorther tour, it says tour might be cancelled due to weather, and you received a full refund and my apologies. I am not sure hwat else you would like from a small operator. Walkinig around in the rain for 2 hours is pretty miserable.
Must do! The tour guide Will was awesome. He was full of dad jokes which we really appreciated and so knowledgeable about the history as well as tips to eat and drink (and best happy hours) around the town! We only had one day in Denver for sight seeing and this tour was a great way to learn more about city both historically and hidden hot spots. Highly recommend!
One of the best walking tours! We learned alot in just 2 hours and because excited to be in Denver from this experience.
Goodness, this tour was well paced, informative and the guide, Will, was knowledgeable, spoke clearly, made certain we were all together, watched for holes or damaged pavement, helped us take great pictures by stationing us in right positions and volunteering to take pics of my friend group. I enjoyed learning so much about the history of Denver, its buildings histories and their styles. I would suggest this tour for anyone coming to Denver!
We had a wonderful time with Will! We were provided ear phones so we could all hear and he didn't have to shout. We loved knowing about the details of brick (who knew?), semi-secret alleys and tunnels, and the bawdy past of Denver. Will was a lot of fun, dad jokes and all! It was indeed a 2-hour walking tour but Will always found shade for us to gather under while he described architectural history of the beautiful old buildings in Lo Do. Well worth the price of admission! Thanks, again, Will!
This tour was really great and I highly recommend it. My wife and I were in town for just one day and we were looking for something to do that was close to the downtown hotel we were staying at. So glad we chose to book this. Will is an excellent guide. Informative and fun. You will see a lot of cool and unique places, and get some great history.
