CSHL is ranked among the leading basic research institutions with Thomson Reuters ranking it #1 in the world in molecular biology. - The private home of James Watson, an American molecular biologist. In 1953, he co-authored with Francis Crick the academic paper proposing the double helix structure of the DNA molecule. - The former home of Beatles John Lennon - Tiffany Tower in Laurel Hollow - You are just a few minute walk to the historic Village of Cold Spring Harbor, where you may visit the shops & restaurants. - Take a hike at CSH State Park. Hiking and parking is free, and the (2) trails are some of the most popular and highly rated hikes on Long Island.

We had an amazing kayak trip in Cold Spring Harbor with Joe. The day was a perfect 10 .... blue skies, a summer breeze and so much fun. We saw 2 eagles leave their nest and soar right over us !!!!!! It was a beautiful relaxing day and would definitely recommend this great kayak trip !!!!!
This was our second kayak tour for the summer with JK Kayak because we had an amazing experience the first time! Joe is an excellent guide who makes the experience relaxing while being safety conscious. Lots of wildlife to see. Highly recommend both the 1 and 2 hour tours!
