The e-bikes were not well tuned: big problems with the derailleur. This obviously spoiled the release a bit. Another point even if it is more a detail: there was no telescopic saddle, which is normally expected on this type of product.
We rented on a Sunday. The trail around the lake was super busy with pedestrians so you constantly had to maneuver around them. Some pedestrians weren't too happy to share the trail. We found ourselves watching the path more than looking at the lake. To get to the lake it is recommended by the rental agent that you cycle the sidewalks which are narrow and occupied by pedestrians. Going on the road would be far too dangerous. Our recommendation is simply to walk because the lake isn't that big. If you are riding outside of the town, though, you'll be much more at ease with an ebike.
Bikes were ok, route finding was not easy, we think the recent flooding had caused some problems to the trails.
The guy at the shop was very knowledgeable and gave us a map with all the necessary details. Communication was smooth, bikes were good, the battery was more than enough for a normal easy day trip.
