This is a real experience, as they will visit an artisan factory of chocolate toku and kakau and coffee symbiosis bistro toaster and they will be able to live the experience of making their own coffee and chocolate grinding in the traditional style of Costa Rica and see the plants and learn about different types and varieties of coffee and chocolates as well as many tastings, also the restaurant and specialty cafeteria will be able to try typical dishes of Costa Rica and a great variety of hot and cold coffee and chocolate drinks, it is perferous for people who want an activity near your hotel as we are 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on your maximum hotel.

This was such a cool experience. It was educational and hands on with the opportunity to try new things. I had my son and parents with me and this was good for all ages.

This was a really, really great experience. I wasn’t sure what it would be like since it was just at a local factory but I would absolutely recommend this experience to everyone. The woman leading tour was so knowledgeable and kind. We got to taste fresh cacao fruit, learned about the chocolate making process, made our own cocoa powder, sampled chocolate, and then made hot chocolate with our cocoa powder. We also learned about coffee production and then ground and tasted some coffee. The tour also included a nice lunch that was typical Costa Rican food. Overall the value and experience were great.
This was the perfect coffee and chocolate tour to get an easy understanding while also having kids with us. Tour guide was wonderful!

This was an amazing experience, got to learn a lot about coffee and chocolate with a great complimentary breakfast. The hosts were extremely knowledgeable and even personally drove me and my girlfriend to the meetup point. These are great, hardworking people and i would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who’s looking for a fun, new experience to try while they’re in Guanacaste!
excellent tour of how much work goes into making high-end chocolate and coffee. The guide was fantastic and showed us every part of the process as well as participate in grinding both the cacao beans and coffee beans. We were given samples to taste the final products as well. We were even provided a delicious lunch at the end which we didn’t even know was included so it was another bonus. Great tour!
We liked learning about how they grow and prepare cocoa and coffee. It was very interactive, and we were able to taste the delicious flavors. Also, we enjoyed the typical food of Costa Rica. Very delicious! We bought a variety of cocoa and coffee products to take to our families and friends. I recommend it to everyone! 🍫💝☕️
We had a great time and the coffee and chocolate class. It was hands-on and informative we got to learn about the production process from start to get finish, and taste delicious coffee and chocolate. Afterwards we will provided a lunch of Costa Rican cuisine. Such friendly teachers really enjoy the experience.
We had a fantastic time at this coffee and cocoa tasting session. The history portion was engaging and informative — I really appreciated learning about the origins and processes behind both coffee and cocoa production. The hands-on experience made it even better, as we got to participate directly rather than just observe. The tastings themselves were the highlight. My three boys (ages 10–14) absolutely loved the hot cocoa — rich, delicious, and they couldn’t get enough! As for me, I thought the coffee was amazing — smooth, flavorful, and some of the best I’ve had. It was a perfect family-friendly activity that kept everyone interested and happy. If you’re in the area (especially with kids), this is a must-do. Educational, fun, and delicious — we’d definitely go back! Highly recommend.
