Absolutely Fabulous!!! Auggie was the best!!! We stopped on the side of the road to ride a camel, hold a vulture and shoot a bow and arrow. It was a very fun stop. We then stopped at a "fast food" yurt. Auggie helped us order. He described everything on the menu. We all taste tested each other's food. We stopped at Turtle Rock and Auggie climbed the rock with us and we found a cave. We then went to ride horses. We were expecting a trail ride. What we got was being led by someone around a mountain. The ride was mediocre, the view was exceptional. We then went to a monastery - it was a lovely climb to the top, with plenty of places to rest. We then went to a "resort." Our yert was wonderful, heated floor, plenty of linens. There is a communal bath/shower and dining room. The food was excellent. On the way home we visited the Chinggas Statue. Incredible. My daughter went to the very top - I just couldn't. We stopped again at "fast food" and ordered Khushuur and had mare's milk. Auggie allowed us to experience Mongolia - in our food and our adventure. Auggie was the best.
We booked this tour and we were blown away with how good it was, just amazing. Our guide Amy was very knowledgeable and very easy to get on with. We visited a nomadic family and trek to them on horse back. The whole experience was just a once in a lifetime journey.
