The company failed to pick us up at 6.30am and then after rearranging our entire trip to accommodate their change to afternoon pick up- we waited at 3 per request only for them not to show up a second time!!!!
Dear Hayley, we are apologize for what happened but remember the time you call us I told you all flight to Selous was departure, we asked you if we will find afternoon tickets, we agreed, sad is in Selous we don't have flight schedules. They cancel our booking.. apologies
We left Zanzibar on the 6am flight landing at 6:30am straight into the game reserve. By 7am we were in the park. At 10 we stopped for tea and a break. We saw elephants, lions, hippos, giraffes, hyenas, crocodiles, zebras. Too many to list. Lunch then carried on finding animals. After a full 10 hrs of game drive we were taken to the selous river lodge. Evening meal was fantastic and we were really looked after. The next morning we had breakfast and went on the river safari. Lots of birds crocodiles and hippo. Back to the lodge for lunch after a 2 hour cruise. Later on we did the village tour with our guide from the day before. We would like to thank Hamsa our guide and Rashidi our driver for making this a trip of a lifetime. Everything was amazing. Superb. We caught the 4:30 flight back to Zanzibar where our driver from experience Zanzibar was waiting for us to transfer us back to our hotel in nungwi. I cannot recommend this trip enough, it was fantastic and exceeded all expectations. Experience Zanzibar tours and safaris (Godfrey) was always available on WhatsApp if I had any questions. Trip not as per the conditions of the sale (pickup drop off charged separately, lodge standard not as per sale, second shortened to 1.5 hour). Viator changed the conditions of my sale AFTER THE PURCHASE AND PAYMENT. Very unsafe safari conditions (we can to a very close encounter with a lioness which could have led to a distrasous incident). Irresponsible and unethical.
We are saddened by your review regardless of the fact that we did our best to make your 2-day trip go as you expected. I would like to inform you of the following few things 1. In the beginning, the price I set was not included transportation from hotel to airport, that's why I asked you to pay us $35 instead of $50 and you agreed. 2. On the second day, I sent tickets in advance, Selous / Zanzibar departure 0930- Actually, there was no flight at 1230 hrs. "THE AIRCRAFT IS OUT OF OUR CAPACITY" I would really like you to leave Selous at 1230 and have lunch, the problem was no afternoon or evening flight 3. You made a boat trip from 0600am / 0900am were the Guide / driver taken to the airport. 4: About our Guide, I am investigating if he has those characteristics and he did game driver close to Lions I apologize on his behalf.
For the first time we made a trip to Selous park. honestly we enjoyed. We didn't expect EXPERIENCE ZANZIBAR TOURS would make our trip better than ever!!. When we read review we were shocked .Mr Godfrey by our agreement promises us we would have memorable and good experience. You can see animals in Selous especially along the river. We saw 3 big five.Selous is the best park expecially boat trip in the evening. excellent!

Thanks to Godfrey and his team for accept me to join other to Selous National Park with a group of six people, we did 2 days safari and we overnight outside the park. I have seen almost all the animals.
