Amazing experience. Our tour guide Angel was fantastic from the briefing up until we returned to Cusco. He is a wealth of knowledge on Peru’s history and specifically the Inka civilization. David Condori Villanueva was our guide for a three day tour that included the Inca sites of Pisac, the circular terraces of Moray and a dawn visit to Machu Picchu to watch the sunrise. It also included a visit to the salt mine, a local family chocolate shop and an alpaca farm. David was a superb guide at all these sites and was knowledgeable and interesting in his commentary of their history. He was well organised and ensured that our travel was smooth and enjoyable, including a train ride from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu. It was a joy to be guided by someone who is obviously passionate about Inca life and was the highlight of our visit to Peru. Thank you very much much to David, to our drivers and to all at Alpaca!
