We got a once in a lifetime experience

Christian lived up to the all the reviews in his name. Our group was just two people and we felt comfortable from the beginning. We started at about 8am the first day and ended back in Bucharest about 4pm the second day. You’ll have to purchase tickets to peles castle online and physically at bean’s castle. The tour is best for those who want to live at their own pace and not having a tour guide that has to follow an agenda, you will be completely in charge of experience.

Better than expected

From the very beginning Christian was welcoming and made us feel comfortable. This trip is truly up to your design. You run at your own pace. You’ll always feel safe and attended to. Great way to explore the country side!

Momorable Visit to Transylvania

If you sign up for this, ask for Christian. He was spectacular! His advice and guidance were amazing and spot on! He got us to places early, told us where to eat, and filled us in on Romania's history. His advice was invaluable! Be sure to book the extension into the Carpathian Mountains. You will not regret it. The views were amazing while driving up the mountains. And on the way down, through the bear sanctuary, we saw big brown bears, not one but 9 (including a mother bear with cubs) right on the side of the road. Our experience with him remains the most memorable experience in Eastern Europe. One caveat, however. The tour company, booked us into a hotel in Brasov to which I would give 0 stars. No air conditioning, no screens on windows, no shower curtain, no bathtub stopper, no nothing and no refund. It was so bad that we left and booked ourselves into a different hotel for the night. If you book this tour, research the hotel to make sure it is a place you want to stay. Once again, don't miss the opportunity to experience Transylvania through the eyes of Christian. It will be a lasting memory for you.

Wonderful, private tour and a quick way of seeing all of the major sites in Transylvania in two days.

Wonderful, private tour of Transylvania. It was a quick way of seeing all of the sites in two days. Unfortunately Peleş castle was closed, but we were still able to see it from the outside.

Great two days

Cristian welcomed us right on time; he was always very helpful and attentive to our needs. He gave us plenty of time to explore without any stress, offering us helpful suggestions along the way. His suggestion to organize a tour the following day along the winding Transfagarasan Roadfor an additional fee- was excellent—we even had the chance to spot several bears along the way. The hotel he recommended was comfortable and clean. It’s definitely worth the trip

Gabriel was fantastic!

Experience beautiful Romanian culture with a fabulous and extremely knowledgeable guide. The tour was well worth the cost! Our guide Gabriel was warm and welcoming with a good sense of humor and a huge amount of knowledge. He always had fascinating information and answers to all our questions.

Worth the money

This was a wonderful experience! We had to book a private tour because we had our 5 year old with us (and tours required kids to be 7+). There were four of us (me, spouse, kiddo, my mom) and we got picked up in a private van. Cristian was friendly, knowledgeable, and a safe driver. We made extra stops (for lattes as well as a stop to see Nevermore Castle from Wednesday). One item was unavailable on the tour so Cristian took us to a unesco site instead. He encouraged us to take our time and was very patient. It was totally worth the extra money for this experience. Whatever you decide, don’t skip out on Transylvania!

Amazing Tour

I booked a solo private tour. My guide Cristian was amazing. Provided plenty of information as well as being a great driver. The castles are great but Braşov is a really amazing city too. And book this for an October trip because the scenery driving through the mountains with the colour changes of the leaves is absolutely spectacular.

Really nice trip.

We were picked up at the hotel by our guide, Christian, who was both informative, service-oriented and friendly throughout the trip. First day Peles- castle, very nice, and Draculas castle( Bran Castle). The latter is a bit of a tourist trap... not much about Dracula. In addition, it helps with some acrobatic abilities at the castle to get around unlit narrow and steep stairs without sleeves. Evening in Brasov. Cosy old town, hotel (Rainer) OK. Day 2 did not follow the usual plan, but for additional payment we took a very impressive trip through the Carpathians, which meant an extension of the trip by about 3 hours. All very successful.

Great 2 day pryvate tour of Transylvania

We had a great tour and with the best tour guide Viator has . His name is Claudiu. Very good at what he is doing. Patient and very kind. In the two days we spend with him he showed us the real Romania with its beauty and its people. We highly recommend this 2 day private tour of Transylvania and ask for Claudiu. Its a must. We will be back
