We booked the trip which on site was available and then having paid and booked we were told that day wasn’t available and the next day was but we had to pay an additional $200. We had no other choice at that late time so we paid it. However that additional payment was not included in the final receipt even though I requested it in writing. The bus on the second day was a very small bus and my wife and I were forced to sit separately for the entire day. Not good. Even though gratuities was said to be included we were instructed only at the end of the tour that a service fee of $15 per person per day was required. This really was unexpected and totally unfair.
Thank you for traveling with us to the Rocky Mountains. We're sorry to hear about your concerns, but we’d like to clarify that all additional charges were clearly explained during our communication and were only processed after receiving your consent. At no point were you forced to accept any charges. Regarding the seating arrangements, they are assigned automatically by the system. Since your booking was made quite late, the remaining seats were allocated accordingly. If you had concerns about your seat, you were welcome to speak with the tour guide or other guests on the day to see if a seat change was possible. Unfortunately, we did not receive any feedback from you at the time. As for the gratuity, tips are not mandatory. Some guests prefer to give tips directly to the guide as a token of appreciation. If you have already paid in advance or if gratuity was included in your package, then there is no need to pay again. Our guides only mention that tipping is appreciated if you are satisfied with their service, but it is entirely voluntary. Additional tips are always appreciated, but never required. We hope this message helps clarify the situation. Thank you again.
