Itinerary
Your tour includes round-trip transport from Istanbul, a guided Gallipoli tour on Day 1, and one night's stay at a 5-star hotel in Çanakkale. On Day 2, after breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a guided visit to ancient Troy followed by free time in Çanakkale before returning to Istanbul. Day 1: Istanbul – Gallipoli – Çanakkale Depart early from your Istanbul hotel by air-conditioned coach, stopping briefly for breakfast (own expense). Arrive at Gallipoli after about four hours to explore key WWI sites including ANZAC Cove, Johnston’s Jolly, The Nek, Lone Pine Cemetery, and Chunuk Bair. Learn about the 1915–1916 campaign and pay respects at memorials honoring thousands of fallen soldiers. In the evening, transfer to your hotel in Çanakkale. Overnight: 5-star Kolin Hotel or similar in Çanakkale.
Day 2: Çanakkale – Troy – Istanbul (B)After breakfast at your hotel, set off by coach on your excursion to ancient Troy, roughly 30 minutes away by road. Wreathed in legend, this UNESCO-listed archaeological gem is the location of ancient Troy, a city that many scholars believed, until its discovery in 1793, to have been dreamt up by the poet Homer for the purposes of his great work, The Iliad. The city is best known for the Trojan War of the 13th or 12th century BC, when after a 10-year siege by Greek forces, it fell into their hands after they smuggled soldiers inside its walls hidden within a giant, wooden horse. Gaze in wonder at the crumbled walls and relics as your guide recounts the city's history, including the Greek myth of the Trojan prince (Paris) whose flight with Zeus’ daughter (Helen) triggered the war. You’ll also see the huge, replica wooden horse that stands here to commemorate the city's infamous past. After your explorations, return to Çanakkale and spend the afternoon as you wish. Perhaps have lunch (own expense) at one of the many enticing restaurants, explore the town's other sights, or shop for souvenirs. At around 6pm, board your coach and drive back to Istanbul, where your tour concludes with a hotel drop-off in the late evening.

We hope that your entire trip to Turkey was wonderful and that you leave our country with beautiful memories. We would be delighted to see you in our country again. Thank you.
The only redeeming part of the trip was the guide in Troy. Quite informative and well worth your time. The rest was a nightmare. The 3 hour drive from Istanbul turned out to be 6 hours because the driver drove 40 mile per hour all the way. The 5 star hotel was 4 star at best. The Gallipoli tour was basically drive 100 feet, get out, listen to the guide drone on for 45 minutes and get back in the van and repeat for 4 hours. Drive back to Istanbul was another 6 hour marathon dropping people off at their hotels. Not worth the time or money. Food was not particularly good either.
Every little detail went perfectly. Very experienced and knowledgeable Tour Guides at both the Gallipoli and Troy tours. Fantastic experience.

Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant. Accommodation was very very tiny.

Excelllent two days. Gallipoli has so much information and Troy is getting better all the time especially once the museum opens in September

The tour to Gallipoli was very good, unfortunately some of the monuments were being renovated which was disappointing however it didn't detract from the whole thing. The guide was very informative. My accommodation for the night was 5 star all the way, meals were delicious and the service of all was great. The 2nd tour to Troy was also very informative however very rushed. I was ok because I had 2 days but it is a long bus ride from Istanbul and the Troy tour was over in less than 2 hours. Our guide hurried us through with only time for quick photos, yet we had spare time at the end. Time which could have been used to take more in as we walked through the town. It was very hot and I felt that he wanted to get out of the sun but considering that will probably be my only time there, I could stand the heat.

The two-day tour was excellent value for money with experienced and knowledgeable guides and professional and courteous service in every way. Thank you for the experience.

tour company and the guide was exceptionally professional. I was the only customer for that day they still run the tour.
Very done

I really enjoyed this tour, and we had a good amount of time at Gallipoli. This was a very moving place. Our guide even helped me to find my relatives names on the memorial. The trip to Troy was very interesting and informative. I'm glad I chose the 2 day trip - it is quite a drive from Istanbul.

My trip was more then i could of expected pick ups and transfers were on time. The Hotel facility was amazing and our tours to Galipolli and Troy lived up to all expectations. Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgable.
