2 Day Daintree Rainforest and Outback Tour
Description
Discover two incredible Australian landscapes from Cairns, Beaches and Port Douglas. Over two days you will experience the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest, where the rainforest meets the reef and explore the Chillagoe Caves, Granite Gorge and other gems of the Australian Outback. This tour is a small personalised tour with custom-built 4WD vehicles. Your naturalist driver-guide has extensive knowledge of flora, fauna, history of the area and aboriginal culture. Your day will be a memory of a lifetime!

Pickup Locations & Times
RAINFOREST DAY: return transfers are included from Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas. OUTBACK DAY: return transfers included from Cairns City, Northern Beaches, and Port Douglas are an additional cost. Please contact the tour operator after booking to book your transfers. Note: Southside accommodation - please make your way to the tour operator's office for both tours.

- For the Outback Tour, a reasonable level of fitness is required, as there are steps and uneven terrain leading into the caves

the first tour want to the Outback. The guide was Rohan, he was great. Knowledgable. the tou was long, because the distances are far away. Luinch was good, Fish and chips. Our guide stopped at a golf course to see a mob of Red Kangaroos ( over 80 with Joeys)learned a lot. The second day went to the rainforest. good trip. saw Crocks, cassowaries and many different birds. lunch very good. swimming was fun. long day worth the time.
The tour is great. I would caution people that are prone to motion sickness to take something in advance of trip. The road is a series of curves. Unfortunately I did not take anything the first day and was sick. We saw a lot of scenery and I would do this trip again. Our guides Andy and AJ were very knowledgeable .
Billy Tea Safaris amazing 2 day package of history and information about Daintree rainforest and Chillagoe area. Skybury Cafe and Roastery offered great start for the (Chillagoe) day with fresh fruits and coffee. Both of our guides were great, with all the information you could wish for... Just great!
We did the 2 day Chillagoe and Daintree tours - both were great! We saw so many fascinating plants and animals, it made our trip really special. Both of our guides were so knowledgeable, we really enjoyed learning a lot about what makes North Queensland such a unique place. We would definitely recommend Billy Tea Safaris to anyone visiting FNQ who would like to experience everything the area has to offer!
