Another attraction in this area is the Gokyo Valley itself, a quaint village situated by the bank of the third Gokyo Lake.The trek features traversing through several Sherpa settlement and Buddhist monastries while enjoying the continuous vista of the Khumba Himalayas. The trek , following the trails of Dudh Koshi river throughout takes the trekkers from green forested paths of Khumba to the stony terrains to the morains of Ngozumpa glacier.
