The walk through the rain forest was great.... it actually did rain for around 8 minutes and stopped by the time we reached the actual waterfall so yes do bring it rain jacket or a poncho... waterfall is majestic looking wear comfortable shoes because it is quite a hike to go down and up the canopy walk was okay a little less impressive than I thought it would be I thought it would be a lot higher off the ground but still okay with a nice view Honoré my driver and died from Vista tours was a great host...even at times introducing me, to the history of Rwanda... and also to popular Rwandan music... as we had a 5-Hour Drive there. and yes 5 hrs back... The drive-through the Rwandan Countryside is so breathtaking the mountains are amazing and seeing the local Rwandan people going about there daily lives felt awesome to experience
This was a long day, but certainly worthwhile. My driver was kind, attentive and professional. The guides at Nyungwe were knowledgeable and welcoming! I highly recommend even a one day visit to see this beautiful landscape.
Wonderful experience, my guide Herve was extremely helpful and helped me connect to Rwanda. Its a very long day but worth it for the incredible views
We particularly enjoyed the trill of the canopy walk experience, it is a great idea for a day out in a rain forest and an opportunity to learn about local plants and springs.
The experience was amazing starting from the roads to the sceneries of the greenery and waterfalls, the guide is friendly and fun to be around, I would 100% recommend it to everyone
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're delighted you enjoyed the scenic journey and had a great time with our friendly guide. Your recommendation means a lot to us!
My husband and I took this tour and it was definitely worth it. First of all, not having to drive was awesome as its very far from Kigali. And the amount of nature just on the drive was spectacular. Baboons, mountain monkeys, bush goats, tea farms, eucalyptus everywhere, etc. But the canopy walk and the waterfall were just beautiful. Lunch was included. An unforgettable experience. We stopped at this really nice coffee shop on the way home that was the perfect ending. I highly suggest taking this opportunity if you're in kigali.
Thank you, Namad. We are glad you had an unforgettable experience with Vista Safaris.
