Jallianwala Bagh is a historic garden in Amritsar, India, forever etched in history due to the tragic events that unfolded on April 13, 1919. During the British colonial era, a peaceful gathering took place here to protest the repressive Rowlatt Act. Brigadier General Reginald Dyer and his soldiers arrived and opened fire on the unarmed crowd without warning. Hundreds lost their lives, and many more were injured. Today, Jallianwala Bagh serves as a memorial, featuring the Flame of Liberty monument and a museum displaying artifacts, serving as a somber reminder of India's struggle for independence.

The Partition Museum is a public museum located in the town hall of Amritsar, Punjab, India. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause.
