Muslim Quarter is a busy market street with hundreds of food stalls and souvenir shops. You will be overwhelmed by the smells, the noise and a welcome ambience. For the adventurous visitors, you can try the yummy local food such as the featured kebob, the grilled squid, the yogurt ice cream and the deep fried bananas. Your Xian tour will not be complete if you have not been to the Muslim Quarter.
Shaanxi History Museum is one of the best attractions to see a microscopic picture of splendid ancient China. It houses 1,717,950 sets of historic and cultural exhibits which are excavated in Shaanxi Province, dating from 1.15millions of years to the year 1840. These historic artifacts make the old Chinese history come to alive for visitors. It is a must-see-place if you are interested in the history of China. The Terracotta Army Museum Is one of the most extraordinary sights we have seen throughout the World and our six week tour of the Far East. The day also included trips to the Xian City Wall and the Muslim quarter which were also extremely good. The Museum is essential viewing to any visit to Xian. Our Guide who was English Speaking was extremely knowledgable and accommodating.
