Lunch at a local guesthouse included. 2-Day Tour: Day 1 — Aktau Mountains, Katutau, 700-year-old Willow Tree, overnight in Basshi village with homemade dinner and campfire under the stars. We will drive out to the bottom of the Ocean to explore the Chalk Mountains of Aktau. Here is schedule for the tour: 5:30 am Pick up time 7:30 am Quick stop to WC/market 9:00 am Bashi village/Enrence to national park Off-road way to first location 10:00 am Arriving to Aktau mountains 12:00 am Departure
Next we will stop in the volcanic mountains of Katutau. Unusual rock forms, created by nature. 12:30 Arriving to Katutau 13:10 Departure to the village 13:50-14:30 Lunch
After lunch we will come to the singing Dunes of 150 meters high to enjoy the scenic views of the Ili River and Almaty desert. 15:30 Arriving to Singing dunes 17:30 Departure to city

Very nice tour! Loved the Aktau mountains and the singing dunes. The dunes can actually sing and the guide teaches you how to make them sing! Food at the guesthouse was amazing. Butter was a great guide throughout, very knowledgeable and always thoughtful of our experiences.

It was such an amazing tour for us to join. The tour allowed us to see the landscapes that I have never seen before. The views are so spectacular! Moreover, our tour guide John is such a nice and helpful person. He helped us order breakfast and translate our messages to the locals. Also, he is very patient to every tour member. Our driver is also a great driver as well and help us to the sightseeing spots comfortably. I highly recommend everyone who visit Almaty to join this tour
Everything is great in the tour. Kolsai lake and Kaindy lake are mesmerizing. The water is clear and drinkable. One must try boating your in the Kolsai lake. I personally suggest to choose the hike option to Kaindy lake as the views are scenic and trail is very beautiful. The lunch arranged in the tour(veg/chicken/beef options available) was also good and hearty. For Charyon canyon, we took the red path(through the bottom of canyon), it was very good experience with lots of picturesque locations. Our tour guide was Zandos, he managed everything seamlessly. However, for some people it may be tiring because it's a long day of travel to various places and includes small hikes ( car /horse ride) option also available.

A superb experience in a small group. The excursion was very well organized, the sites absolutely sublime, and the meal with the locals delicious and warm. Our guide, John, was attentive, thoughtful, and competent. He accompanied us with seriousness and diligence while providing us with the necessary information for a full understanding of the sites visited.
