Die Familie Zotter hat mehr als 600 Schokoladensorten erfunden, die von der Bohne in unserer Bean-to-Bar-Schokoladenfabrik hergestellt werden, und alle Zutaten für die Schokolade stammen aus BIO-Anbau mit Identifikationsinformationen, BIO-Kontrollnummer: AT-BIO-402. Außerdem ist unser gesamtes Unternehmen Fair Trade-zertifiziert. Wir sind Mitglied der WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization). Wir haben rund 250 verschiedene Schokoladensorten ins Zotter Chocolate Theatre Shanghai importiert. Sie können während der Genusstour verschiedene Schokoladen probieren.

„Zotter Chocolate“ wurde 1987 gegründet und ist ein Familienbetrieb mit Josef und Ulrike Zotter an der Spitze. Zotter ist ein „Bean-to-Bar“-Hersteller, der alles selbst herstellt, vom Rösten bis zum Conchieren in kleinen Chargen. Sie verwenden Kakaobohnen mit feinem Aroma, Kakaobutter anstelle von Palmöl und andere hochwertige Zutaten. Zotter, auch bekannt als 100 % biologischer, FAIR-TRADE-Chocolatier, zählt mit seiner Vielfalt, Qualität und Kreativität zu den besten Chocolatiers der Welt. 2014 eröffnete Zotter das Chocolate Theatre in Shanghai. Es ist eine Schokoladen-Erlebniswelt mit Verkostungstour, die sich über eine Fläche von 2400 Quadratmetern erstreckt. Das Zotter Chocolate Theatre Shanghai ist die einzige denkmalgeschützte Ziegelfabrik in China, alle Schokoladen werden aus Österreich importiert. Mittlerweile importieren wir rund 250 verschiedene Geschmacksrichtungen, unser Sortiment umfasst handgeschöpftes Choco, Labooko, Balleros, Mitzi Blue, Classic, Fruit Bar, Light Bulbs, Trinkschokolade, Choco Lolly und handgemachte Mixriegel.

Zotter used to be a big tourist activity way back in 2016 and fast forward 9 years coming to ten years later it’s an old classic. Nothing has changed which for fast paced metropolis Shanghai is quite surprising but evening still works and it runs like a well oiled machine with no surprises for the well initiated. It’s my 7-8th time to zotter and it’s a nostalgic look back to my kids younger kinder years where we were bored and we would just pop by the zotter for a chocolate sugar rush. Zotter really hasn’t changed much where the Chocolate packaging is still the same, the flavors haven’t evolved much and everything and every part of the tour is as I remembered. On a weekday rainy pre Xmas day, we were the only ones at the museum. Don’t get me wrong we have a ball of a time it’s like our own chocolate Willy Sonja’s playground!!! I feel It certainly deserves more active reviews and attention…. Zotter factory is Probably overdue for a revamp and a refreshed look..:. long term residents of Shanghai will perceive zotter as a tired looking place to pass one meaningful hour and zotter has greater potential than to be perceived this way.::. Come by nonetheless y won’t be disappointed
