Zoo Miami ist der größte Zoo in Florida und der fünftgrößte in den Vereinigten Staaten. Als einziger subtropischer Zoo auf dem amerikanischen Kontinent ermöglicht uns das einzigartige Klima in Südflorida, eine Vielzahl von Tieren aus Asien, Australien, Afrika und Amerika zu versorgen. Zoo Miami erstreckt sich heute über fast 750 Hektar, 6 Meilen Spazierwege, und ist die Heimat von mehr als 2.000 Tieren, die über 375 verschiedene Arten repräsentieren. Von dieser Population sind mehr als 130 Arten in freier Wildbahn gefährdet : viele sind als gefährdet oder kritisch gefährdet eingestuft. We had a wonderful time at Zoo. My kids loved it, go with plenty of available time as its too big and you will need time to explore everything. Just loved it.

Dissatisfied customer
So we booked the zoo due to the inclined weather conditions we didn't get to view anything. All we did was sat there and waited for the rain to stop but it never did and the zoo was closed. We re kindly asking if we can be rescheduled or refunded.

Summer vacay
The rain and thunder was very heavy. We didn't get to see anything. We're disappointed since we are on vacation. I know it would have been a wonderful experience if he weather was clear.

What a lovely zoo
The zoo was set up well. We had a good time observing the animals and foliage. Recommend when you visit Miami.

We loved it!
This is a beautiful zoo- clean, well maintained and easy to find your way around. We rented a pedal bike since our time was limited that day and got to see everything we wanted. Our favorite exhibit was feeding the lorikeets. Friendly staff, lots to see and read, paved access everywhere. We loved it so much that we purchased a membership even though we'll only be in the area for 4 months!

The north zoo seem to do better
Very spacious Park although that much transportation needs and the one traim they have the times are way too off Animals seem to just hide away with the heat and prices for food are way overpriced unfortunately this didn't feel like a real zoo

We understand the heat in Miami is no joke, as do our animals. While our keepers provide cooling enrichment, treats, and opportunities for our animals to engage with, we never force them to do so. Zoo Miami is a great place to spend a day
We paid $7 extra to take the narrated trolley ride that passes behind the scenes, explanation was great but he got mad because some passengers (2 small kids and adults who needed translation, interrupted him) The zoo has many exhibits, some relocations etc in overall a lot of walking to see everything, there is an option to rent the ride on cycle either pedal or electric but seemed expensive to us. Make sure to spend at least 3-4 hours to take it all in.
