Great experience, so beautiful! Learned a lot. Hot in July but that’s expected, it was still nice. Wear good walking shoes. If you’re brave, you can climb to the top of The Cat windmill.
Great tour. Claudia was great fun and had so much information to share. The cheese shop was a bit overwhelming—it would be nice if the group could be served separately but understand the shop is small.
Fantastic and informative tour with lots of fun facts. Only a short air-conditioned bus ride and a lovely village to visit. Inexpensive and fun, even as a solo traveller.
The details of the trip were misleading. We thought we’d be traveling through the countryside, stopping at one place to see windmills, another to see cheese making, etc. No! This was a village using automated machines to make clogs——not the traditional method. This was very geared for elementary students. Our guide had very little background to add to the experience: no history and very little engagement. This was such a waste of time. It appeared the guide was at a loss and not sure what to say. Such a waste of money…… totally taking advantage of travelers’ naïveness!
It was a great trip... Cristian, our tour guide, talked with pride and love of the history he was telling each time. I learned so much on this trip! As a solo traveler, I had doubts about going on this tour, but in the end it was worth it.
This was such a fun experience! I just wish I could have stayed longer. Loved this tour so much!!! Everything was so well organized and our tour guide was so much fun!
All arrangements went well but the site we visited was crowded hence we could not enjoy the visit. Tasting of cheese and chocolate area was so crowded we could not get close enough to taste.
Nice chance to see the windmill in operation as well as how clogs and cheese are made. It was just enough time to not be rushed but enough to say you experienced it.
This is a great tour with an excellent guide. She kept us informed about the next step in the tour. She was right on time.
It was a very good trip, interesting and made a change from doing tours within the city. Enjoyed seeing the windmill and learning about the area. The only downside is there wasn’t enough free time to go inside the clock museum and wander around the area, it did feel a little rushed. Was impossible to get to taste the cheeses as the queues at each table were very long and we had limited time.
