Begib dich auf ein aufregendes Wildnisabenteuer in den YALA-Nationalpark, der Heimat der konzentriertesten Leopardenpopulation der Welt! Sri Lankas Leopard ist eine Leopardenunterart aus Sri Lanka. YALA verfügt über ungefähr hundert einzelne Leoparden. Wir streben an, in den ersten zwei Stunden des Tages (6 bis 8 Uhr) und/oder in den letzten zwei Stunden des Tages (16 bis 18 Uhr) im YALA-Nationalpark zu sein. In der Umgangssprache von Wildtierliebhabern wird dies "Golden Hours" genannt, was Ihnen die höchste Chance gibt, die schwer fassbaren sri-lankischen Leoparden zu sehen. Dementsprechend haben wir 4 separate Safari-Optionen für Sie zur Auswahl geplant. - Morgens - Nachmittag - 7 - Stunden - Ganztägig Im Rahmen dieser Touren nach YALA können wir Ihnen die Möglichkeit geben, Faultier, Elefanten, Krokodile, Affen, Fleckentaucher, Mongoose, Vögel und eine Fülle anderer faszinierender Arten zu beobachten. Abholorte & -zeiten
Unsere Fahrer holen Sie von den Hotels in und um Tissamaharama/ Kataragama/ Kirinda/ Weerawila/ Palatupana/ Yodha Kandiya ab. Sie holen Sie für die 5-stündige Morgensafari, 7-stündige Morgensafari oder ganztägige Safari gegen 5.00 Uhr ab. Sie holen Sie gegen 14.00 Uhr zur Nachmittagssafari ab. Die Zeit wird leicht angepasst, abhängig von der Lage Ihres Hotels und den Standorten der Hotels anderer Gäste, die die Safari mit Ihnen teilen werden. Manchmal weist das Management der Hotels einen anderen Standort innerhalb des Hotelgeländes als den Lobbybereich zu, damit die Gäste von den Fahrern abgeholt werden können. Bitte kommunizieren Sie vorher mit dem Hotelpersonal und lernen Sie den Standort kennen, wenn nicht, warten der Fahrer und Sie an zwei verschiedenen Orten aufeinander. Seien Sie pünktlich am konkreten Ort und Sie werden unseren Fahrer treffen. We were quite disappointed with the early morning safari experience. We had to wake up and be ready for pickup at around 5:00 am, so we were really looking forward to seeing some wildlife. Unfortunately, during the safari we did not manage to see any elephants, leopards, or alligators. We did see some deer, monkeys, and a variety of birds, which was enjoyable, but overall the experience was somewhat disappointing. Given the very early start and the time spent on the tour, we felt that it did not quite live up to our expectations and, unfortunately, felt that much of our time was wasted.
Today we had a wonderful safari. This was certainly due to the animals, but the main role belongs to Hishan. Hishan is a capable guide who knew how to spot the animals well. Besides, you can see that Hishan has a lot of experience, so he knows exactly where to stand waiting to spot the animals. Because of this, we saw elephants, leopards, and baboons. He even managed to put us face to face with a leopard that was drinking. If you are going on this tour, ask for Hishan.
We went on a full day safari drive with our driver Niro who is an exceptional driver. He made sure we were the first at the entrance of the park to ensure sighting of the leopard. He speaks confidently and shows great knowledge of the wildlife in the park. We had a lovely packed breakfast, snacks and cold drinks for the day. We saw the leopard twice in one day because of Niro's skilled driving and communication with the other drivers. We highly recommend this safari.
Although we didn’t see any leapards we found the three hour safari amazing. The guide pointed out so much we wouldn’t have even noticed. We were picked up at 4am to avoid the overpowering mid morning heat. All admission costs were in the overall cost of our excursion.
Nice trip. Beforehand several reminders and one more check to see if everything was correct. We were picked up on time. We didn't properly understand that you only book the jeep and not the tickets for the park. The driver checked and then we found out that we didn't have the tickets, he immediately arranged it and within 5 minutes we were on our way with tickets. Beautiful park, the driver is sharp and spots everything. We saw the cheetah. Morning safari is fine. We could have gone for hours, but for our children it was so fine. I did have the feeling that there was less time than we had booked.

Professional company and our safari driver was brilliant identifying different species Went over the allocated time as he wanted to make sure we saw as much as we could Saw 1 very well hidden leopard and lots of bird species, deer, crocodile, few elephants, peacocks, water buffaloes Bush safari so different to the Sigirya elephant safaris. Worth the visit
I joined the safari tour and got to see elephants, crocodiles, and rabbits. Although we couldn't see any leopards, our tour guide, Muthu, worked really hard to help us find the animals. It was a great experience!
Tikiri was our guide! He was awesome, made sure that we saw the leopards, elephants, deer and crocodiles. Good tour- good guide, would recommend.
We had a great day! 5 leopards, many elephants and various other animals seen. The guide was fantastic and knew where to find the right places. Lunch was delicious.
